A 6 hour round of golf is what this course offers on the weekends. Yes you can be stoic and weather the slow play. That is what happened today. Drove 1 hour from LA to play a 4 1/2 hour round at a semi private golf course and was served up a 6 hour round as "the club booked two tournaments"...we are sorry. Best of luck to the management if they keep up this sorry state of affairs. I have had the same experience before and will not be playing here again. What is not surprising is also the state of the golf course which at one time was my favorite Ventura County course. Olivas is a hundred times better.
