fairways hard to distinguish from rough except for white flag markers. traps have grass growing into them. course looks poorly cared for. for a world famous course it is looking pretty shoddy.

south is a mess. they have not worked the sand in well on the greens and the fairways are a mess - with grass cut down and bald spots- leave this course alone for a few months until they begin to focus on the buick - not a good value at any price.

poor upkeep. greens edged strangely at first cut, rough high with large amounts of cut grass laying around, grass growing into traps, looks raged and worn, worst I have seen it, attitude of staff in pro shop is poor and in general it looks like city employees don't care about the golf experience, it looks like a farmers field more than a top quality golf course.

Enjoyable round. Had to place shots. Could not hit out of "rough" or as they call it native vegitation. One hole (par 4)was too short for a driver or a solid three and was just in between lenghts. Well run, well kept, congenial staff- a good golf day.
