It’s $90 to play Los Serranos North and the conditions are less than ideal. The course is in the typical late summer condition of spotty grass and over saturated muddy areas. The greens are a mess akin to putting on a waffle or maybe the surface of the moon. Several greens sport burnt areas that are light on grass. Los Serranos is also a victim of the ball mark epidemic that has seemingly over taken the game. I don’t know when golfers stopped fixing ball marks but it’s out of control. Bunkers are rock hard with chiseled grooves from attempted power raking. Several bunkers held standing water making them officially unplayable. Still a very fun layout, but painfully over priced for the condition of the course.
