Played Troon North (Pinnacle) on 7/31 from the gold tees (71.7/137/6645). Found the golf course to be very fair and playable as long as I put my tee shot in the fairway. A ball in the rough is GONE (snakes, and jumping cholla cactus!!). Tee boxes were in good to great condition, with some divot damage here and there. Fiarways were very lush. Due to the recent rain, it was cart path only. Greens were pretty fast but had quite a few ball marks at times. Overall, a great course, that I'd love to play in the winter. BTW, it was only 87* in Scottsdale! Great weather.
