Played here on Sat. 07-28-07. Some fairways were like a battlefield. Roughs were all USGA length and worse. Saw more sand than when I was in the Sahara.......This course can be very cruel!

Each time I play, I receive an email from the head pro making sure my play was a satisfying experience. Everyone from the bag drop-off person to the snack cart person to the starter are exceptionally curtious.

Barona Creek is by far the best value for the dollar. I played there in April, and am looking forward to my return trip in June. Length plus accuracy are both required to gain the rewards.

Bear's Best is by far the most fantastic golf course I have ever played. We teed-off with a "fore-caddy". His job is to keep track of the golf balls, give distances to the flag, and point you correctly off the tee, all for a round less than $100.00. Each golf hole is representative of a famous golf hole. I can't wait to go back and replay the course.
