Golf Course Reviews: California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Utah, Florida, Hawaii!Played an SCGA Amateur Net qualifier on 4/12. The course is in wonderful shape. All tees are flat and level. The fairways are firm and provide a decent amount of roll. The rough is lush but never penal. Greenside bunkers are extremely playble but fairway bunkers may be a little soft for most users. The highlight of SCGA's pride and joy is the condition of the greens...ULTRA smooth with roll, roll, and more roll...you better pay attention if you're above the hole or pin high with a breaker. Service in the pro shop and food service was top notch as usual. The only concern is the noise from the heavy earth moving equipment nearby. The new homes around the course don't really distract...the fairways are so generous they [should] never come into play. Bravo to the greenskeepers at this great property!!!
