Played Lincoln Park last week on a whim. I had driven by it and was unimpressed by daisies growing in the fairways and mowed grass left in the middle of the fairways. However, upon arrival, I found the staff very accommodating and the course actually in very good shape. Yes, there are daisies in the fairways making it sometimes difficult to find your ball. Yes, there are clumps of mown grass in the fairways, but, even though I shouldn't, I just moved the ball a couple of inches and all was fine. The routing is generally first rate. The condition of the fairways and greens was very good. Overall, even for an out-of-towner, the rate with cart was quite reasonable and I had a great time. The main thing they could do is replace some of those embarrassingly awful carts.
