Golf Course Reviews: California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Utah, Florida, Hawaii!course is getting better. all the tee boxes are closed off, looks like they are overseeding but it seems like the finally leveled them out. tees are moved all the way up as of 10-23-07. some greens still need some work but i have noticed a vast improvement over 3 weeks. as usual staff is not the nicest around.
played 9/16, very nice staff. course, not so nice. course is dry and dead everywhere. dirt patches in rough and fairway. greens are horrible. tons of unrepaired ball marks, greens did not run true and there were a lot of dead and dry areas on the greens, did not expect these condition from this course. i know long beach has proclaimed a water shortage but it looks like some parts of the course doesnt have sprinkler systems installed. for the price i highly doubt i will ever play there again.
