I have played Fossil Creek four times now. At first I was not thrilled with the course or the staff. I must say that has changed. My last two rounds there I have moved up to the white tee box and the experience has been very rewarding. Not just from a score perspective but the course itself just feels better. I guess more of us should play up.... The staff in the pro shop seem much more pleasant these days as well! The course is a good layout so long as the wind is not bad. If it is windy then this course gets challenging quickly.

Bottom line: I recommend Fossil Creek as a course to play in the DFW metroplex.

Played today and course was in good condition. Some areas under repair due to heavy rains. No effect on fairways of greens for the most part. Greens should be excellent this summer. The price is good and the course is great to work on your game or just relax. Employees at the course are outstanding and very helpful. The attitude presented is refreshing to say the least. Down to earth would be the words I would choose...
