Hey! It looks like they read this! :-) Practice facilities looking MUCH better the last couple times I've been over there!

Since they've taken on the new management, Encino and Balboa have been generally better, but it seems the GK's haven't been as consistent.

Don't even bother with practice chipping as the chipping area looks like it was used for planting land mines. ;-)

Played Olivas Today.

First, it was a lovely 75 degrees. I love this course in the middle of summer. A bit windy, but given fairways you can land a small passenger aicraft on, no big deal. As many know, this is a course big hitters can really let it rip.

Overall the course is in excelent shape except for a few greens and the practice green where there are some ball marks.

A few wet spots, but really, the best deal for a hot day!

Played Los Robles a couple weeks ago. Structurally a fantastic course with lots of elevation. Will need a few more weeks of good weather and less water before it's in OK condition. Many of the greens were still kind of soggy and bumpy, and generally inconsistent. Aside from a miserable day putting it's a fun course.
