My first time out on this course I stretched it out and played the back tees for the round. I'll just say this, if it's wet, or your game is off at all, don't make that mistake. Pay close attention to the ratings and choose the one that fits you best, not what the other guys are playing. Now that that is out of the way, I'll start off with this course is a blast!

The first hole is a sharp uphill fairway and that sets the tone for the course. Up and down, with plenty of left and right turns through the trees. Once you navigate the fairways, you'll start hitting some of the most challenging greens in Snohomish County. Some might think they are fun, but I honestly had a very rough time with them - and my putting was pretty decent. That said, they were in great shape and putted very well.

Overall, I would give Snohomish a definite thumbs up. Challenging course, with major length from the tips. The good part about it is if you are a shorter hitter, they also have some tee it forward locations that make the course playable for just about anyone. Do be careful of any rocks in the fairways - I managed to get a chunk taken out of my almost new 8 iron from the left side of the 14th hole. Didn't see that coming, but now I know for next time.

I'll be back to Snohomish for a few rounds next year. The course is a killer value!

PS - Wanted to make sure that people understand that this course is extremely hilly - so if you aren't used to walking some pretty good hills, grab a cart before you head out.
