ANGC is in great condition, and a great course to play. It is not crowded & a round took aprox 4 hours. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that they are still in the process of building a clubhouse, and currently are using moblie trailer like setup. I would have thought the green fees would be discounted since they lacked nice ammenities, even though they did the best they could with what they have, but it wasn't. Once the set up is completed, I'm sure the ammenities & service will be much better, and ANGC will be worth the $100 per round.

Now I understand why this course is rated #1. WOW! Great design. Tough and challenging yet allows for even some errant shots. Greens were some of the best I have putted in my life. Very true. Some green discoloration but that was it. Balls rolled very true. Fairways were in wonderful shape. Tee boxes were not overly used. Sand boxes were hard to get out of but the sand was good so it gave you half a chance. Rough was well rough. It offered you a chance to make up on a bad tee drive but it only paid dividends if you could excute. I guess you get what you pay for. This course is definately on my hit list of favorites I have played. Would play again only to get my revenge. Great way of evening out play since starter had us start on Back 9 first with the front 9 to follow. Sorry about the slow play guys if you were behind us. Overall though I was impressed and my rating proves it. Cheers to a great and very hospitable staff!!! Thanks Steve :D

Anyways... course in excellent shape.

Tough course. It has been a year since I played here, The GPS is brand new and is great. The greens were great. A bit too firm, with shots rolling off off. The sandtraps were okay. Either packed from watering or a bit too much rocks. Hot day but beats working. This course should be playing like a 8.5.

Disappointed with the greens, not that they were bad, just not good! Too slow! There is nothing wrong with the course and if you hit it straight, actually plays pretty easy. (If you hit it crooked, watch out! ) I guess I'm a traditionalist, because I like looking down the fairway and on most of the tees, you only see fragments of fairway ... not my style, but ok for a change of pace.

The course is in great shape. Fairways and greens are in great shape. Greens are fast and firm, but will hold most shots. Long and straight is the name of the game here at this course. Love it!!... Continue »
