Course in great shape after the rains, but still cart path only. Greens a bit bumpy as expected but should flatten out once they completely dry out. I hear new carts are coming at months end. Rough has finally been cut down to managable lengths but you sitll need to keep an eye out when you leave the fairway.

Played the Ike through one of the Mega Monday deals and paid $55.00 including a cart - a cart with NO GPS. I can't figure out how a course like this can charge $100+ on the weekends, host close to 200+ tournaments a year but, can't afford to update the carts!

The course is in good to a little better than good condition. The greens were punched a little while ago but, they haven't healed 100% IMO. Some of the greens were a little bumpy and sandy. I have played this course before and the greens were like glass. The fairways were cut at a nice overall height but, there were a few brown spots and surprisingly, a lot of divots that weren't fixed about 100-yards to the pin.

The rough was nice but, you can easily lose your ball on the fairway because the undulation on some holes and the slopes on the side of the fairways can take your ball and hide it pretty well - even if you think you hit it straight! The bunkers had sand that was a little too soft - if that's possible.

The old adage, "you get what you pay for ..." applied to this Mega Monday deal on the Ike. I have played this same track in just under 3-1/2 hours and this time, it took a hair over 5-hours. WTH? We only saw the beverage cart person 1X the entire round. Customer service was good as usual.

Overall experience? Good. I like this course. It is definitely challenging with plenty of distance and risk-reward type shots.

The only complaint is the pace of play by other foursomes that think they own the course. It shouldn't take a person 10-minutes to look for a ball before deciding to take a drop. Even more so if you lose a second of third ball on the same hole! Some people can make it easier on other groups if they would just offer to wave a group ahead of them.

Playaed in a tournament on 9/18. I love this course. It was in excellent shape for the most part. I wish I played here more often, as the greens can be a little tricky sometimes. Fairways were just a little thin, but quite playable. My only complaint was the pace of play - 5 1/2 hours! The group in front of has had 3 decent players and one absolute beginner. Unfortunately, I didn't see a marshall all day. Fortunately, I had a great time with my group. I'll be back soon.

Played Sat. AM, went off right on time and finished in 4 1/2 hrs. Course looking good: greens rolling quick but not fast, fairways in great shape ... an all around fantastic golf experience. Yes, the golf carts are on their last leg and the balls on the range could be replaced, something you don't expect from a high end resort course, but still a great way to spend the morning. Only $ saver deal I know is the Mega Monday, but I hear it can get packed.

Played the Ike yesterday 8/30, i thought it was in excellent shape. Fairways were nice on hole 6 they were doing some type of maintenance on the fairway. The only real problem I have with Idustry Hills are the carts. Played there a month ago cart died on the 9th hole. You would think a course like this would have better carts and GPS. But i will be back in another month.

7 AM tee time. Course was extremely wet. Even with the expected heat wave, I think they overwatered. I'm not sure what this course/resort is trying to be. Layout is top notch - use to be brutal, but with technological golf club/ball improvements over the past decades, it's now a very fun course. So, track is great, but range is fairly (embarassingly?) poor.
Greens were extremely soft, bumpy, and moderately slow. Fairways were wet/soft and "choppy"...almost as if they mowed improperly in places...rather bumpy.
How can there not be a yardage book for this place? It's not as if the course is 6 months old? How do you know how far the bunker is off the tee or yardage to cut the corner? No book? OK, but at least put a range guide on the carts. Come on guys, this is the easy stuff. They play USGA/SCGA qualifiers, so a book has to exist. Just print the darn thing and sell it for $5.
I'm playing next week so I hope the water is a temporary issue.
I'm not sure there is a better public layout within 50 miles.
