Golf is a hard game, but when you have to wait 10 minutes to hit a shot from the fairway, it tests your patience and makes it harder. The POP here is terrible. 5 hours is ridiculous. With that said, if you can catch this course on a quiet day, you'll enjoy it. Tee boxes could be better, the fairways are decent, the greens are good with the exception of many un fixed divots. Come on folks, you know who you are, fix them and a few more, you have time at this place. The sand is average, hit and miss, and the layout is a bit odd on some holes. The scenery is great and there are few deer to take pictures of while you are waiting to tee off. Don't play here on the weekend, but give it a shot during the week. And for God sake, don't bring a 5 some. Leave the odd man out at home.

Played today. Had a 6:15 tee time and arrived to a packed parking lot? Turns out the Arcadia PD was having their tournament today at 8 AM. My group got through 9 in about 1.5 H. Back 9 took us 2.5 H behind the shotgun. I would have liked the course to have informed us that there was a tournament today, when we booked our time. We found the course to be in decent shape, given all the hot weather and amount of play. Tee boxes were good. Fairways were dry and provided good lies and roll, though some areas on edges of fairways were dry and bare. Traps were all fine and playable. Found the greens to be in very nice shape, with good speed. Customer service was excellent at all levels. Other than the delay on the back 9, it was an enjoyable round of golf.

Played on 7/19 at 2:30. Check in and starter was smooth and friendly. Course is in very nice condition. Tees relatively level and good coverage. Fairways were very good good roll but not too hard. Rough was not very long but good coverage. Greens were very nice but really slow. Bunkers were excellent. POP was HORRIBLE! I was in a threesome, in front of us was a twosome and in front of them was a five some. Front nine took OVER three hours. Did not want to take the chance of missing the sushi dinner I had planned so I stopped at the turn. This is a fun track but the pace of play is almost always bad.

Played here 7/19/19 with a 2:30pm tee time. Let me start off by saying my last review was accurate of this course. I said I wouldn't be returning and I ended up giving them a second chance. This time I brought 2 friends with me. Pace of play was once again ridiculous at over 5 hours! Staff was not friendly and I can tell you that the only reason this course is still in business is because the conditions are amazing. Pace of play and staff ruin this course though. They overbook the course no matter what time you play. I can finally say with confidence my friends and I will not be back. We have tried this place 2 times now in the last 5 weeks and both times it was the worst experience ever!

Course conditions are awesome however. Greens roll true and are in great shape, fairways are green and lush, sand traps need a little work, rough is thick but you're able to get out of it. Tee boxes are in good shape and level. Water did smell pretty bad on the course and it needs to be cleaned. Some trees definitely need to be trimmed as they are now impeding tee shots on the par 3 #5 hole and #9 hole.

Staff was rude, pace of play was terrible. We most likely wont be back for at least a year because of this. It is a great course and a fun track but when the staff continues to be rude and the pace of play is well over 5 hours every time, it's very hard to enjoy yourself.

Let me start off by saying this was the WORST experience I have ever had in golfing for the last 12 years. We walked off the course. Pace of play through 13 holes was 4.5 HOURS!!! The course decided to put an office tournament in front of us of people who have never played golf in their lives. Some were wearing office attire out on the golf course! I was baffled by this. They were parking golf carts on the greens! throwing trash on the fairways, not racking sand traps, not fixing divots, or ball marks and on two holes they didn't even put the flag back in!!!!! Secondly, we tee'd off at 12:30 pm 6/5/19. It was myself with a friend joined by 2 others. The other 2 guys quit after 9 holes from waiting so long and they were even more frustrated than we were. We continued to call the club house with no real punishment or action to the tournament in front of us. Staff- Our cart broke down on hole 5! We called the club house and they gave us a new cart only to have that cart die 1 hole later! At this point I was frustrated. When we got to the turn after hole 9 we went to get drinks since it was so hot and we were standing and waiting up to 28 minutes per hole at times for the group in front of us. I bought a $1.99 water from the club house. When i asked for a scoop of ice the woman said "We don't give out ice it's $7 for a bag." I said "Not even just a scoop to keep my water i just bought cold?" She replies no and was extremely rude. Course conditions were nice. Greens were punched a month ago and recovered well but given that the idiots in front were driving up on them look for cart marks on at least 2-3 greens. Fairways were a little uneven but still green. Sand traps were bad. Very little to no sand in some bunkers, some had rocks and some had sand. Water was a little smelly on the course. Rough was ok. Good length for it. Tee boxes were for the most part level with some showing new damage most likely from the morons in the tournament. ** I am beyond disappointed with this course and the staff. Friendliness was at an all time low among all of them. I woke up this morning more upset than ever. I take a day away from the office and couldn't even play 18 holes. If we would have stayed and finished the 18 our time would have been between 6.5-7 hours for the round. So you may be thinking to yourself right now - what did the course do to compensate us when we complained? Well "Dave" gave us a coupon for 2 free green fees - CART NOT INCLUDED- Mon-Fri after 11 am. They couldn't even allow us to play on a weekend given the fact that we spent an entire day because of their lack of speeding up the tournament of FOOLS in front of us. I did speak with Tripp who's the GM and he was very kind and understanding. Hopefully he will crack down on the bar staff. Tripp was very kind and apologetic when i raised my concerns with him this morning.

Played early this AM, on their Memorial Day special. POP 2.5 H as there were a few back 9 players when I made the turn. As I stated in my last review (5/16) the course did dry out some from recent rains. Really did not notice any issues from yesterday's rain either, except bunkers. They all are damp and packed and have not dried out, nor been worked on recently? Conditions from tee to green, are just fine. Customer service great at check in. If you choose to play here, play early if you can. Not only to take advantage of early bird specials during the week, but it is a busy course, most of the time.

Hard to believe I was the last reviewer since Feb? Went off just before sunrise and the rain. Got through 3 holes and then found the gates locked to play # 4 (guess maintenance was still sleeping). Rerouted with no issues (went to 8 - 16 and then found the gates opened played 4-7 then 17/18). Got some rain towards the end of the round, but was prepared with the rain gear and rain was very very light. POP was 2 H. Found the course to be in very good condition. Tee boxes were fine. Not in any bunkers, but they looked OK and should be fine, as rain was very light. Fairways had good roll and lies. Greens were great all round. Even when the rain came, they still had speed. Customer service was great at check in. Did the early bird w bkfst for $32. FYI -Just noticed my review came out as 5.5? It should have been 6.5 as the course is much better than a rating of 5.5

Played today. Tee off 6:18 AM and done at 8:30. And we had players in front of us? Those that play here early, are regulars and know how to play at a great POP. Course is in good shape. No issues with any tee boxes. Fairways are filling in nicely and had good lies and good roll, most of the round (a few dry thin spots exist). Very little rough at all, but of course you do have OB areas and water to contend with. Traps (not in any thx) but heard no complaints and they all appeared cleaned. Greens were holding shots. Chipping/putting just fine and with good speed. Great customer service at all levels. Early bird special is excellent choice ($32 + cart + breakfast).

Played today in POP of 3 H. Course is in nice shape for this time of year. Tee boxes are all clean/playable. Fairways are firm, with good roll and lies. In one trap and it was just fine and heard no other complaints. Very little rough, except along the OB portions of the course. Greens were just great. Held high shots. Released shots. Putted with very good speed, all round. Great early AM deal that includes round, cart and breakfast burrito for $30. Customer service was excellent at all levels.
