Very Nice Course. Be prepared to work your way around the course. The fairways are the best oppurtunity for all of your blind shots. There are holes that you can take advantage of cutting corners and playing agressive but, be careful because they will punish you if you donot make the shot.
The greens are nice, some greens will hold your shot, and some will run. My experince is the greens around the water areas are a little faster and run alot.
Love this course. I will playing it again next week.

One of the better practice facilities around the area. Staff is kind and courteous as well.

Course was in great shape. Very challenging. Not a lot of bail out areas for the less skilled. Also not that scenic for the money you're paying.

- Played yesterday for the first time in just over a year. The course is far from the "Immaculate" rating it currently has. Much of the grass on the 10th tee is dead, and the fairways are also not great. There are many brown areas in the fairways as well as some areas where grass is growing back so it is clumped and hard, often resulting in a poor lie in the fairway. They should rule them ground under repair IMHO. The greens roll very nicely, although some inconsiderate golfers refuse to fix ball marks so there are many of them on the green. The changes to #15 made it a much better hole than the last time we played last summer. The biggest issue for us yesterday was that a company outing went off as a shotgun on the back, and since a PGA player was also there, they started us off the back. I assume this was to accomodate the Pro. Needless to say, we caught the tournament on what was our 3rd hole and we waited on every shot for the remainder of the round. For $110 on a weekday, I expect to not wait behind a tournament. On a positive note, the practice facilities are the best in SoCal and the people could not have been nicer. One word of advice for those of you who plan golf outings for your company: If you have a llot people who have never golfed before, or are extremely poor golfers, please book a municipal course, not a difficult, high dollar course.

Tried TPC for the second time as have out of town guests who thought playing a SoCal TPC Course would be a worthwhile and amazingly memorable experience. At $143 or $572 for the four of us, the concensus of the group was it was okay but way, way overpriced. The facility was very nice, the staff was very nice, the conditions were very nice and the layout was very nice, well within the $90 to$100 range, but unless they are planning on making the course ocean front or have a PGA touring pro as your caddie the pricing is way out of line, we won't be back.

Played in a tourney on 6/20. The course is in great shape with a practice facility second to none. Very challenging layout, pick your tees wisely.

The front winds it way thru a "valley" with homes perched on top of the hillside. Every bit of available land has a home/town house with aview over the course. You get the feeling the course is there only to provide pricey golf course views. The back gives you too many blind shots for my tastes, but has some interesting holes. Clearly a course you would have to play many times to score well. Both nines have the 5 FWY and the Old road to contend with.......

I will never pay the full rack rates to play this course. IMHO, an average layout, in great condition, but just not worth the $$$$.

I can think of no holes that were truly memorable...at their rates there should be at least 15 of them. The staff and service were good but if I want great service, I go to a great restaurant. If I pay top dollar for a great golf course, no amount of being fawned over will make up for the fact that the course leaves a lot to be desired. Don't waste your money.

Give it a go!!!!!!! You will not be disapointed. p.s. Not a course for the 20 and over handicaps. You just might lose a lot of balls...

Played last Saturday. Course was in absolutely perfect condition even with all the rain we had. The greens were in great condition. The facility, Clubhouse, Pro Shop are both first rate. My only complaint is that we had 2 drinks each and the tab was $90. A little excessive, could have bought at leat 3.5 liters for that.
