The course is short, with at least one hole less that 100 yards, and you are hitting off mats. You only have water in play on two holes, and then only if you really have a wicked slice. There are screens up to protect the sides to the narrow tee boxes, so you may end up with your trajectory blocked.

But hey, it is a pitch and put. All that is par for the course (pun intended). On the plus side, the new mats are pretty soft, so you can get a tee in them if you have short tees or (as other have done) use a plastic water bottle cap as a tee. Or just hit off the mats. The greens are in decent shape, and there are plenty of trees. The fairways can get a bit thin, but I have seen thin and hard fairways on much nicer courses.

The real plus, for hackers like me, is that the course is perfect for working on your mid to short game, 100 yards in. You get lots of opportunities to pull out your wedges, even off the tee for moderate to long hitters, and guys like me need to work on that short game. You can generally walk right on, even as a single, and there are lights for play late in the evening. It is in the mid $20s to play 18, and you can play just 9 for less if you want. There are even a few longer holes, where short and moderate hitters can pull out the driver. If you are hitting in the 240 to 260 range, you get about 5 holes for the long club, so you can feel like a monster and drive a par 4.
