2/3 tagging along with my regular golf buddy for his b-day round $27($5 off the sr rate) Conditions seemed better than a week ago. Fairways had some thin areas but had ok lies for the most part. Not much rough but some areas near the greens had some depth. Seems like the few days of over night dew and warmer days helped the grass. Did not have any encounters of the sand kind. Tees on the par 3s showed damage but most of the others had the markers placed in nice areas.
Greens were dry smooth and rolled medium fast and just looked nicer over all.
Easy check in 340 POP with some waiting behind a slow 4some for a few holes until they kindly let us thru.

1/27 birthday round $12 cart fee and $5 off $33 sr rate foe playing partner. 800 tee off a little slow with some waiting 4 hr POP but with no pressure from behind did some extra putts and ball hawked the river so it all was good. Fairways are mostly thin with some ok areas. 60=40 ok lies. Rough is short except for some slopes and areas closer to the greens. Tees are also mostly thin and the par 3s are well worn. Bunkers appeared well groomed and playable.
Greens were really wet from overnight dew so were about medium speed and a little bumpy at times. Too many un-fixed ball marks. Course is a little quirky but still enjoyable.
Staff is friendly and welcoming.

4/10 using Golf Moose $49 2some--smooth 320 POP on a balmy am with much less wind than forecast. The river runs through it and with the last rains deposited extra sand on the lower fairways so lies here could be tricky. Otherwise conditions were pretty much ok with about 70% decent lies. Even though we had some less than ideal lies being able to occasionally execute a good strike from those lies is fulfilling. Sure its good to approach a ball that is sitting so fine that it is practically teed up. Sometimes its fun to tough it out and walk with the Scots.
Rough is mostly a factor on the slopes and areas around the greens. Bunkers have reclaimed heavy river sand that is deep but compacted which is rather to my liking.
Most of the tees are battered but playable.
The greens are really good with healthy tight grass, freshly mowed , smooth and rolling medium fast with just enough subtle break from slope and topography to provide a very fair challenge to our putting skills. The grounds crew had been out early and swept off all the debris from the night's wind storm--good job!!

3/25 using Golf Moose $49 2some staring just before 8 POP 310 waiting only on 18. Fairways along the river were flooded at some point and about 1/2 of the area toward the bank is sandy and thin. #4 looks to have actually lost about 10 feet due to wash out. Rough is more apt to be present on slopes and areas close to the greens giving a more challenging lie on the shorter shots.
Bunkers were still pretty wet and not recently groomed as there were multilayers of unraked foot prints. Tees here are quite chewed up especially on the par 3s.
Greens are the high light, lush mostly smooth rolling at medium/medium fast increasing speed as they dried out from the morning dew.

1/25 using Golf Moose $50 2some POP 415 with some waiting about 90% of the holes. Recent rains left more sand on the river bottom holes essentially cutting the fairways in half most notably on those on the west side of the river but made do with a liberal lift clean and place to find tufts of grass. Other fairways were generally ok. Rough is most noticeable around greens and on slopes. Bunkers looked ok but did not have any 1st hand encounters. Tees on the par 3s are beat up and thin.
Greens are the best aspect of the course mostly smooth rolling medium/medium fast with some subtle breaks and depending on pin placement additional contour to factor in.
Staff friendly and golfer oriented.

1/11 tee off 745 with a 315 POP using golf moose $49 2some--no waiting until 17 and no one right behind us(looked like most play starts after 8 the course looked pretty busy as we made the turn). A little foggy and cool to start and remained overcast until we reached the parking lot but pleasant enough overall. Water in parts of the river and evidence of some substantial flow from the last rains as the low lying areas next to the river were rather sandy or a combination of mud and sand.
Fairways were patchy, mostly thin with isolated areas of decent grass--odds were 40/60 of getting a good lie even with winter rules. Not much rough except around the greens and on some of the slopes.
Teeing areas were level for the most part but very thin and worn--playable but not visually pleasing.
Bunkers looker ok but had no personal experience in today's round.
Greens are definitely the best feature of the course, well maintained and healthy medium speed and smooth with very few untreated ball marks.
Lay out is a little quirky with many uphill approach shots and several river crossings.
Staff was friendly at check in and gave a "go when ready message" which allowed us to get out easily ahead of a couple of 4somes.
Carts are fast and equipped with standard GPS. Driving range has soft mats. Large well maintained putting green. Course has a muni/neighborhood feel but has been in overall better condition than we found today. What with the $25 green fee and good POP I would say it was fairly valued.

4/23 using golf moose $49 2some voucher POP right at 4 hours a little slow for a Monday 800 am tee time. Fairways remain in mostly winter condition mostly thin and in some areas on the back 9 quite firm--ok for iron shots but really tight for fairway metals. Not much rough along fairways but some thick patches here and there closer to the greens and on some slopes.
Tees also thin with some bare areas that did not affect play.
Bunkers recently groomed nice deep rather course sand that rewarded well executed swings.
Greens have recovered nicely from maintenance but were not quite smooth yet--rolling at medium speed.
Staff is friendly and easy going.

3/7 $49 2some--golf moose quick 315 POP. Bunkers looked ok but did not have any direct contact. Tees thin with quite a few divots. Fairways mostly thin and dormant--not much rough unless being extra wide of the mark--so yes I found some patches. Greens are by far and away the best feature and are in good shape--medium fast smooth and receptive. Staff members are friendly. Course has some quirky features uphill dog legs and elevated greens many are fairly large and often have their own elevation changes--maybe 3-4 feet from bottom to top including the tiers. Course has some nice visuals with water in the river.

2/12 using golf moose $49 2some rather quick 330 following 2 groups of ladies club members--hit it get to it hit it again no dawdling there go the steretypes.
In 1 bunker front left on 10--nice deep sand and well groomed except for the foot prints fight next to the rake. Tees mostly beat up but playable. Fairways a bit of everything from really nice to thin and sparse--a few sketchy lies. Nor much rough routinely but some areas on slopes were juicy as were some spots close to the greens.
Greens quite good--mostly smooth a little damp and medium speed early and a little faster later in the round. Nice and healthy with very few ball marks.
