Played Saturday morning with fellow GK'r Noeldaof. Great person to play a round with. I have been wanting to play this course and finally had the chance and was not disappointed at all. Customer service was incredible. The guys behind the front desk make you feel liken you are a member. Even remembered my name when they brought out a ice cold towel during the round. The greens were in fantastic shape. Make sure you read your putt from different angles, they can be tricky. I'm glad I didn't count my putts, that would have been depressing. Tee boxes were outstanding as well as the bunkers. Nice soft sand. I found my share of them. The fairways were in good shape with some being wet from watering the night before, but really didn't effect distance. There was some repair to the fairways, but not much, with some patch work being done, but it's great to see a course making sure that it's in good shape. Overall I can't wait to get back there and try to shoot a better round. I wish I could blame the course for my bad round, but the course was in too good of shape to do that.

It was a nice 07:18AM tee time that caught heat from the sun in mid round. I was joined by a GK buddy, caligolfer1031, who I met for the first time and was fun to golf with and another local.

It was a nice 07:18AM tee time that caught heat from the sun in mid round. I was joined by a GK buddy, caligolfer1031, who I met for the first time and was fun to golf with and another local.

We had a great time enjoying the good weather and the courses' good conditions. Not: some of the fairways were being patch. The course really take actions right away when there are any burn areas or any beaten paths so you may find a few roped up GURs, but other than that, it's in a pretty good condition and plays well.

Played on April 25. First time playing Shadow Hills and loved this course. Will definitely play on next trip down. Tees, fairways, traps and greens were all in great shape.

It would be silly of me to go through the details of the course review as it ends up being a high 9 score anyway. Besides, i notice that I may be one of the few who frequents this course. It's hard for me to get tired of this course because of many things that goes well. And if I had to re-rate the course conditions over again after the two days we played last weekend, the rating may just shoot through the roof this time!

What stands out the most over the weekend were the greens. We were all so impressed by how smooth and tight the cut of the greens were. Rolling very true and smooth was pleasureable. (I couldn't blame my putter, ha ha..)

The rest of the course, the fairways were cut tight and ran well, the tees were fine.

The staff, well the ol' Trilogy GM is here now. Many changes are happening and guess what? They were good-good before but they've elevated to "great" now! Casper management must be doing something right. The staff from Pro-shop, to restaurant, to snack bar, to cart barn... man, they're all a pleasure to be around ...and boy, do they move. I mean they all seem to be a well syncronized group of staff working together.

Even the drink cart's making a great effort, I've never noticed it before, but since others here seems to always post about drink carts, I wanted to make note that we were circled 3 times by the drink cart girl. Hope that's a good thing.

I loved this golf course. I got on for $59.00 on GolfNow but I would pay more to play here again. Friendly yet challenging around the greens. Great staff... worth every penny. This is definitely one of my top five favourites in the valley

The playing conditions of this course at this time is at excellent. I keep playing it for it and the cost is well worth it. But this course is just a good course and fun to play. Generous fairways, short roughs, hard greens and well undulated. Water comes into play in a few holes... 4 or 5 maybe and there are some strategic bunkerings in both the fairways and greenside that is fair and some that I would just completely avoid. There are a few waste areas... no big deal, but the sand consistency and the way it plays is very good.

Many holes on this course are very pleasing to the eyes and it's easy to be taken and crank up the power as it also has length in a par 71... Love the length on this course. It has everything for me with a well mix of distances per hole.

This is becoming a favorite stop for me.

Also, the team golf mangement of this course, I have to say they need to be rated Top "A+" class #1. I've seen what they've done and how they work and care for this little course and needless to say that we are very impressed.

Forgiving course for those of us who don't find the fairways as often as we'd like. Houses run along all holes but not too tightly. An attractive course and is in quite good shape now. The greens tend to run on the firm side and not much break at all. Staff has been very pleasant - I've played here twice in the past month.

Twodaysofgolf SatSunday! It was really neat. The course was in great condition, but the greens could be a little smoother. But I guess they need to do this to save it from the heat which it was.

It was the last weekend before they closed and the place was packed which made the course play up to 4 and a half hours and maybe even close to five. We even saw some Tahquitz boys and some old time friends.

With many courses overseeding this time of year, Shadow hills was one of the few that is still open.

All-in-all it was still a great time at Shadow Hills and will always play it.

The course had some bad areas this summer, but now it is in great shape, 90% The greens are a little slow, now, but during the season, they are 10.5-11
