Golf Course Reviews: California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Utah, Florida, Hawaii! Here is a course that is packed with history and is a lot of fun to play. The old stomping grounds of Sinatra, Hope, Walt Disney (who donated the water fountain). Established in 1961 Architect William Bell. Great course to play and is right across the street from Indian Canyons South. Another "wind free" course. The course was private up until last year, ran into money problems when it could'nt attrack new members and is now owned by the Agua Caliente Band. Play it when you are in the area you will not be disatisfied if you like the old layouts. The 19th hole is superb, cheers.
Played on April 25. First time playing Shadow Hills and loved this course. Will definitely play on next trip down. Tees, fairways, traps and greens were all in great shape.
Played April 23/08. I play this course every year we come to Palm Springs. Love it, its not that difficult but the views are great. Course was in great shape.
Played April 30/08. Nice layout, some fairways were burnt and some of the bunkers were unplayable because of over watering. Loved the course and would definetly play again.
Played Apr. 26 12:30 tee time and the temp got up to 105F. Course is in great shape tee to green. This layout has over 100 bunkers plus waste area. If they are going to have that many bunkers on the course they should have a machine to groom them. Most were the same consistency as the waste areas. Take lots of water if you play in the heat they only have 2 filling stations.
Back again for the anual PS visit. Played twice this year Apr. 18 and Apr. 25. The course was in great shape. Prices have gone up but then hasn't everything still worth the cost. You can get a $10 off coupon at Roger Dunns Last year I complained about the pace of play. No problem this year, course marshall was out kept everyone moving.
I recommended the course to group of 12 and they all loved it. Will definitely keep coming back.

Played this course 3 times between Apr 15 -29, on this trip to Palm Springs. It was in great shape. Only problem was speed of play. 1st time it was nearly 6 hrs. was told it was because they queezed 3 foursomes in because of wind in the valley. This course is renowned for little wind. Next 2 times we were still over 4 1/2 hours. Great course for the price though.
