Played here 11/17/12. Overll, good condition. Greens somwheat slow and bumpy in spots. Probably need another week or two to smooth out, although greens have always been on the medium / slow side. Fairways very good condition, a little soft, but lush for the most part. Bunkers I visited were very good condition. Right amount of sand with a slightly firm base. Good customer service throughout. Good practice facility for full swing and putting. Limited practice area for short game. Good layout, nothing mysterious, straight forward design. Recommended.

The course was in great shape after their recent work on the fairways. Last time we were there, some of the fairways were completely brown. I think they were just letting it die intentionally. The fairways are now nice and lush; back to Goose Creek standard! Tee boxes were even and largely undamaged. The greens were fast, but not lightning fast like the ones at Tukwet clubs I play the day before, and definitely more receptive. There were a LOT of ball marks though. C'mon people, fix your divots! This is one of my favorite track and it's always well maintained. If you've been holding off due to its recent maintenance, it's time to go play. You won't be disappointed.

Played the Goose on Sunday 11/4. Had a group of 9 players and they were kind enough to let us go out 3-3-3. Course has come out of maintenance just fine and is back to the conditions we all know and love at Goose Creek. POP was around 4.5 hours. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens were fantastic with the greens running around a 10 on the stimp. Was in 2 fairway bunkers, they were fine. The 1 greenside bunker had no sand in it. That was about the only disappointment on the day for our entire group. Will be back again soon.

Course has recovered nicely. Everything is nice and green. Customer svc is real good. Had made the tee time last Tuesday for 4 but on Friday one had to drop out and yesterday another got sick. Called in both times and no problem cancelling. Played in just over 3 hours. Going back next week.

Played 11/4/12--Course is in wonderful condition, really no complaints whatsover on condition. Really is one of the best kept courses there is. Not the most challenging course, but it makes for an awesome place to bring friends and have a nice relaxing game.

Teed off at 1:00 and pace was plenty fast to finish despite daylight savings. We were home (as in at home, not the clubhouse) before it got dark. 4some in front of us kept a perfect pace, and we weren't really pushed by the 2some behind us.

Only complaint was with the office staff. Previously I have made tee times online (at goosecreekgc.com) and never been charged until I'm in the clubhouse (or fail to cancel in a timely manner). THIS time, however, I walked into the clubhouse with my foursome and was told "It's already been charged and can't be reversed." Not a huge deal, but annoying that the rest of my group feels like they have to scramble to give me cash back. Some consistency here would be great...perhaps just a checkbox online that says "I prefer to pay at the course", so that the course knows not to charge the card in advance (unless you fail to show).

Played with a friend and his friends and i loved the course because it was just you and the course, no houses around. The course was if very good condition, greens a little on the slow side, but not all marked up. It's always fun when you play with people that know the course and every one gets along. They do a great job of maintaining the course and the price is right

My favorite course so it is hard for me to say how disappointed I was today. Fairways are perfect, tee boxes perfect. That's it. About 6 greens on back 9 have a fungus and of course the maintenance crew put the flag right in the middle of fungus patch. The hole cutters on the front 9 did not pull out the cutter correctly and the holes were mounded. I have never seen the greens roll so slow. Like I said the fairways were perfect so why the 5" rough? Our 4some lost 4 balls just off the fairway as the ball would sit down and you could not see, hell, you couldn't see your shoes for that matter. I'll be back as I doubt they will allow this to continue.

They should let you play for half price. know what the course can be awesome when its right: If this was your first time you probably would not come back.
