Played Goose Creek On Sunday, July 15th.

Tee time was scheduled for 8:40, and there was no wait. No group on the green or waiting behind us when we were teeing off. Pace of play was great. Got around the loop in about 3:45, which is great for weekend golf.

The course was in great shape. It's hard to find a course with such lush fairways for under $100, and this course was in the best shape I've played in a long time. The bunkers could definitely use more sand in them. Of the 2 I was in, I was on the face on one, which was fine sand wise, but being on the flat, there was very little making it hard to dig under the ball. I liked the shape and form of the greens, but the lack of player etiquette in fixing divots boggled my mind. There at least 5 to 10 on every hole. The course has a fairly easy layout, but based off the sheer look of the course and the effort put in to manicure the course from start to finish. This is definitely one of the best values in SoCal.

Continued..The course was in GREAT condition and as always, pace of play was 4 hours even. The service was world class -which is the best in Southern Cal by far! Even the restaurant staff was great. There was only one minor flaw in this otherwise flawless diamond: The friendliest guy there (Jimmy) is a rabid USC homer (both my kids are at UCLA). We can overlook that considering how attentive and helpful the staff always is :) .

This course remains the best value for money in Southern California!

Played today 7:17 tee off. Funny thing is we made a tee time res, but when we showed up we were not on the computer. No Problem, worked us in and apologized for the oversight. As usual great customer service.

The course in a nutshell - excellent as always. Tee box to greens everything was lush, very few unsanded divots, and few ball marks. greens were quick and rolled true as always. I was not in any bunkers, but they looked OK not fluffy sand but decent. Pace of play was just over 4 hrs. What more can you ask for. Shot my handicap so no complaints, should have scored better but had my usual blow up holes.

Played Sat 6/30 for the first time at Goose Creek. Wow! Now I can see why this course is called THE hidden jem of Southern California. The green and fairway quality is, IMO, better than Tustin Ranch. Very impressed that the staff at Goose Creek can keep the condition this good in the middle of Inland Empire where it's hot and dry. You can see that they care about the course and about the experience the golfers have on their course. I was blown away by the quality and it is absolutely worth the green fee. I paid the rack rate of $75 (with cart) but it was worth it. You can find discount on their website.
The layout is not easy but also fair at the same time. There is no water except the 18th, but most of holes have hazard (for example creek) that runs along one side. So putting your tee shot in the middle is important. The layout is not boring at all and keeps you engaged.
My only complaint (well, not really complaint but my own struggle) was that I played from Blue tee and all par 3's were long par 3's with > 180 yards. Maybe i should have played from whites. And there are couple of holes (I think they were aound 6th ~ 8th holes) where there are plenty of little flies flying around. But hey, you're playing in Norco area. Just don't open your mouth wide :).
Overall, this is the best quality public golf course that i have played in the price range. It is worth every dollar of green fee you pay. This will be my go-to course whenever I play in the Inland Empire area.

Went out to my favorite course on Sat 6-30. Had a 6:30 tee time and got out right on time. Back in my car at 10:45 perfect pace never waited never had anyone push us.
They have revamped their website and you can now book singles. A great improvement over going out and hoping to get on.
I really can't say enough about the whole experience here. Great staff, great range, outstanding course from tee to green.My only complaint is I am beginning to see a lot of ball marks on the greens. Really people its not that hard to fix them!!!
We need a GK plays outing here soon.

In town for my yearly 2-week home-visit to SoCal - - what kind of a trip home from India would it be without a round on The Goose?? Played on Friday June 15th. My buddy made the starting-time...and I was even with him when he called the day before to make certain that we had a tee-time. Surprise - when we arrived - no tee-time!! To the credit of the great staff at The Goose - they fit us in and we got out about 5-minutes late! As always - the driving range here is outstanding! The course was playing "backwards" (starting on #10) - a first for me and I've been playing Goose Creek since the week it opened! I really like finishing 18-holes here ON the 18th hole - but - what are ya gonna do? The tee-boxes were level for the most-part and in good shape. I guess my memory plays tricks on me because I always remember the fairways here to be near-perfect...they seemed a little thin in places...and there were some areas that really should have been marked GUR. The greens had been small-hole punched a few weeks before - they had healed nicely - but overall the greens were a bit lumpy-bumpy but very true with regards to uphill/downhill and breaks. Finished in a little over 4.25 hours - felt like a lot longer - as we waited on every single shot for 18-holes - but no fault of the golfers in front of us - they had nowhere to go either. The 19th hole ran out of Stone IPA after the second cup...not good!! Left and spent my $$$ on a little hole-in-the-wall Mexican food place on Limonite. Overall - it was good to be home...I will always consider Goose Creek to be my home course!!

Played twilight on 6/24 as a 4 some. High winds made the round tough. Otherwise the course was in great condition. Tee boxes nice and level. Fairways were pretty good but had quite a few unrepaired divots. Greens were pretty darn fast. Balls were not sticking and made putting and chipping kind of tough. Sands were decent. All in all, a decent time. Just wished the winds weren't as high.

played Thursday morning the first day of summer. I love this course and will continue to play it forever. Except for the hard bunkers ( no sand to talk about) the course is just in pristine condition. The trees that use to block the approach shot on 14 have been drastically cut back. No longer a factor unless you get directly behind them. No over hanging branches. It looks like they are adding a tee box and it will add about 40 more yards to the hole. Like I mentioned, was in 2 bunkers and both times needed to close the club face and dig into the ground behind the ball to get it out. Just little or no sand. Keep up the good work Goose Creek.
