Played on 12/24 for $25.00 and though it was a good 60 mile drive one way it was worth it. Course was in good shape, not great, the greens were nice medium fast, but the fairways were spotty; not terrible but had to move the ball a few times to find grass when in fairway. Nice layout and when it is this price it isn't too bad, anything over $45.00 even on weekend play closer to home pay extra cash and save money you would spend for gas and time of commute.

Wow. We took a 2 hour drive to play, and it was worth every minute. The building is very nice when you first walk up. The staff is friendly. And we would like to say Thank You for the young lady that made our breakfast (by herself), it was wonderful. If you live in the area, just go for the breakfast.
The course again was in great shape, and they were actually working on the course, getting the greens ready to punch. It did not effect the pace of play or the roll on the greens.

The worst thing is that we were playin at such a great pace. We finally caught the group ahead of us. It has that country club feel. We went out as a twosome, and no-one was in front of us until the above happened on 7.

For those of you that would like to drive and play in Riverside, this is a good course to put on your list.
For those of you that live there, wow your lucky. Enjoy.

I brought 3 friends here for the first time on my suggestion. I was embarassed by the poor conditions. The fairways had many bare & browns spots & the greens were beat up. I've never seen the place in such ratty condition. The recording on their phone talks about "pristine conditions & welcoming fairways". Guess again. What a shame such an interesting layout is so jacked up. Everyone liked the course but not the upkeep. Don't know when or if I'll be back anytime soon

Very Very wet Ball marks on every green i must of fixed ten or fifteen every Green and i don't even put a dent in the repairs the greens need. Too soggy we got stuck in the mud in the middle of the fairway. Every tee shot plugged or we lost the ball in the 5" rough we are not pro's and we are not playing a PGA tornament i think 2" or 3" is good for weekend golfers.

Played 7-5-07. It was hot! The maintenance guys were out there watering to fight the desert conditions. They keep it in pretty good shape. Kudos to the architect as it has an interesting layout. Tee ... Continue »

Played 7-5-07. It was hot! The maintenance guys were out there watering to fight the desert conditions. They keep it in pretty good shape. Kudos to the architect as it has an interesting layout. Tee boxes weren't as furry as last time. Greens in good shape. Some bunkers had standing water others were pretty decent. Will play again but maybe not during a heat wave.

Played on Monday 6/4/7. I agree with the over watering issues, but maybe it's more of a drainage problem, anyway course was lush and green. Traps could use more sand as well. Greens were fast and true... Continue »

Greens were fast and true IMO and yes people need to fix their ball marks. When we got there my playing partner discovered that he had forgotten his shoes. While talking about buying new shoes or playing in flip flops the pro shop/starter guy offered a pair of loaner shoes. Maybe the people who work M-F aren't the same as the ones on the weekends, I mention this because our experience with the staff was a nice one. Also our golf cart lasted 18 holes and the GPS worked fine, so maybe someone there is listening. I will play here again.
