Course is in very nice condition, although a few of the tee boxes (Black) were not level in places, and because they are so tiny, they have a few areas of wear. Otherwise the course played well. Greens were a little slow, but reasonably smooth. Fairway rather good.

Played Hidden Valley for the first time this weekend and found the course to be in excellent condition. Fairways and greens were great (narrow of course, and incredibly challenging greens), not too much wind, and the customer service was fantastic. The team in the pro shop was very friendly, beverage cart came around frequently, and marshals kept pace of play was fine. Definitely recommend the course!

Jay Miller here again, loved a couple of the new reveiws. Yes, 75% of all days the wind does start showing itself around 1:45, which makes the course tougher. Just finishing sodding 3 tee boxes that needed help, and there are two more to go. Finished 65% of the bunkers that need help, a few left that will be completed hopefully by June 10th. Introducing our new Valley Card this month, it is a membership card that gives you special treatment, lower prices and several privledges.

Right now however, the course minus my refurbishing areas is in the best condition it has been in years. Our course surveys show almost 100% satisfaction. My greens are nothing but pure and business proves it. Once again, if you want to play my course on Thursday - sunday call 14 days in advance to get a good time. I always enjoy the challenge of this course. Teed off today at noon (twilight) and had some major wind to deal with. Course was in good shape, greens were nice, fairways were well kept, but the bunkers needed some work. Pace of play was slow, but that was probably due to the wind. Enjoyable, tough course.

after seeing the president of hidden valley comment on how good the course is looking, i decided to check it out for myself. Played this course for the first time tuesday afternoon and was very pleased. Conditions of the course is pretty good right now, with nice smooth greens and lush fairways. The layout is comparable to Lost Canyons, but i think this course is alittle more forgiving. Only thing i really didnt like about this course, is the hazards that is in the middle of the fairway. I guess thats my fault though, because i didnt look at the gps. Gps system is pretty small though. I would definitely play here again, but playing here in the wind is too hard.

We do not punch our greens until July, so I have the best greens around. Only bad thing to report is that if you want a good tee time Thursday - Sunday I suggest you call 14 days in advance - due to great course decisions, our new cart fleet, and God blessing our business - We are buseeeeee.

Played today 4-15 for the second time. This experience was more enjoyable than the previous one. The course wasn't crowded and we were told we can tee off when we were done hitting our range balls. Pace was good we finished in just over 4 hours. The fairways were mostly in good shape, there were a few wet spots and bare spots (the fairway on #9 was in bad shape). The tee boxes were mostly level with a few bare spots also. I don't know what was going on with the greens, they looked great from the fairway and I thought they would roll well but they were recently sanded. They didn't appear to be punched recently but there was a lot of sand on all the greens. The tenth green had to large areas of sand where you couldn't even see grass underneath. The rough was in great shape, it was thick. Hitting fairways was a must to score on many of the holes. Course could of been in better shape but it wasstill very playable and enjoyable.

Played on 3-28-10. when start time arrived our foursome was told to go ahead and tee off. the only problem was that there was nine players still on the first fairway ahead of us. This went on throughout the day eventhough marshalls were around. the group was also yelling off the tees which everyone could hear in the area. The were finally told to break up when all nine were one the 18th green over the loud speaker. the round took over 6 hours. the foursome behind must have thought that we were causing the delay because they hit into us on the 15th hole which was roped off and made for walking. You could feel the frustration of everyone around. One of the worst rounds of golf I ever had, We did complain, but basically got a shrug.

played 2/17 friday morning. pro shop got us in timely manner. tee boxes looked ragged with alot of bare spots and sometimes mud; although even. fairways had areas of mud and thin areas. greens were smooth, but didn't roll well for some reason. speed seem to vary on different areas of the green and on different greens. bunkers were basic granite pits. walk in the sand traps and leave no footprints to rake! pace of play 5 plus hrs. played there a few years ago, not that bad. i don't know if the recent fires in the area had an effect but the place was run down.
