Early morning round in a little over four hours on an extremely busy course. The staff is great and carts are good but do not have gps. The tee boxes were all in pretty good shape with a couple 12th and 16th being sloped. The rough was still quite thick and penal on most holes but did hold up wayward shots. Finding those shots was another story but not impossible. Fairways were in very good shape with excellent coverage. The traps were in better condition today than in past rounds but a few still were damp or puddled with water. The greens had been punched earlier in the week and were still very bumpy. It looked like all they needed was more sand on them to fill in the indentations of the holes? The course was extremely damp in places that it didn't need to be. Seems like a waste of water especially when sections of the course are squish squish soggy. I would say a couple of weeks is needed before the greens are in top shape again. The rates are very reasonable and it's always nice to play at a busy well run facility.

Sunday morning round in four hours on a nice windy day. Staff always great and carts are good. The tee boxes have improved with only one being a bit beat up. The rough has grown a little bit since my last round but is still playable and a stroke saver. The fairways had great coverage of green grass and were actually being watered. Holes five and six were a bit dry before and good drives would run off into the lakes - not so anymore! The traps are always the weakest part of this place. They are all well groomed but have less sand than a cat box! Most have about a 1/4" of sand or dirt with hard clay like mud under that. The greens were all in excellent shape with very few marks and rolled true but with less break than usual. The fees are still a big draw for most and the conditions of this 18 are nice.

Played the Palms Course at Menifee today....Paid $41 rate at 10:00...worth every penny...4 and half hour round, but I can see it could be longer if course was full. Greens real good and plenty of good grass lies in fairways, some sand a little thin, but you can tell easy enough walking in them...Played Seven Hills in Hemet on Sunday and if it was a 5 out of ten this was an inch short of a 9......we will be back...

Played here on a cold Tuesday morning. Super friendly at pro shop and especially the starter. Course is generally in good shape. Wide fairways, but well defended greens. Fast firm fairways. Greens were quick but rolled true. Very firm also, anything hole high bounced to the back of the green and good chips had a shocking amount of rollout. Bunkers were variable in condition, with some of them having very thin, penal sand. No chance to try out food or bev service of any kind.

Early morning round on Sunday in a little over four hours. The staff and rates are great as are the carts. The tee boxes were all in really good condition with only the 15th back tee box being sloped. The rough was just long enough to stop most shots but short enough to hit from. The fairways have been overseeded and are in pretty nice shape. There were sections where dormant bermuda could be found but not many. The traps were all well groomed but rock hard and damp. The greens were all in very good shape and pretty quick for being so early in the day. The greens were all pretty smooth with very few ball marks. The club was very busy and the lot was full when we finished. Always recommended.

Played last Sunday in under four hours with an early tee time. The staff is great. The tee boxes were all in great shape and level. The rough varied from a couple inches to a few inches but one could locate their ball and make good contact. The fairways had nice coverage with a tight lie here and there throughout the round. The traps are still in need of a little/a lot of sand. The greens were quite a bit softer than usual and slower than I've ever seen them. The rates have risen slightly but they are still fair for both courses here at Menifee Lakes.

Mid morning round in about 4.5 hours. The course has raised their rates as all the other courses have. The tee boxes were all in good shape with a couple being sloped. The fairways had great coverage and were still pretty much green from the all the recent rain. The rough was fairly thick as expected. It would be nice if the six inch clover around the greens could be removed though! Nothing worse than having to hunt for a ball in green side clover. The greens themselves had been plugged and still showed they had. The speed was much slower than usual and they were very bumpy. The greens were also much softer that usual and were a bit frustrating. The traps were mostly in shaggy shape or filled with water. The rates are are still much better here than other local courses. It will be nice when they get the Lakes side reopened!

Played last Sunday before the rain came in again. The course is in pretty nice shape with the grounds crew out mowing the six inch rough thankfully. The staff always great and carts very good as well. You could drive on the course with the 90 degree rule. The tees in good condition with a couple a little tilted. The rough was damp and penal. The fairways have 100 percent coverage with good lies but a little damp. The bunkers were either damp or under water. Greens looked great but were very bumpy and pin placement was a little evil. The rates are fair and the course is in very good condition. The other course (Lakes) is closed with the virus but the side (Palms) remains open for now.

Mid day three hour round on a newly over seeded course. The staff is always professional and friendly and the carts are very nice. The tee boxes were all level and in fairly good condition. The rough is pretty punishing in most places along the rain soaked fairways. It's not easy to locate balls in and just as difficult to advance your ball very far. The fairways are nicely greened up but not real great coverage on all holes. I would give the course another couple weeks before the seed fills in better. The traps were obviously very damp and wet but most are in very good shape and well groomed. The greens are looking good as well and were quicker than expected. There were very few ball marks and for the most part pretty smooth. The rates and the fact there are two full courses here at Menifee Lakes make a round here pleasant and worth your fees.
