Played Sat A.M. Course is nice right now. Greens are o.k. Rolling good but they have some poa growing. Great customer service. (A Shout out to Torrey and Jay ) Course is one of my favorites. You really need some knowledge of the greens to score well. They say everything breaks towards some valley to the east, but I saw putts break uphill??? They also put some new sand in the bunkers!!!!!!! Great GPS system in the carts. Great practice range. Bring a camera for some great pics.

Played Oak Quarry for the first time on 8/31. The course is well maintained, lush and was well worth the $30 twilight rate. Great time, on a beautiful course!

Every time I play here, I am reminded just how wonderful this course is! The variety of the type of holes is great. Unlike many courses, where you feel like you're played the same hole over and over, with only length being the difference, the holes are so individual here. Condition was really execellent!. However I have to say that the entire staff from the pro shop to the cart personel, etc - were fantastic. They make you feel they appreciate your business, which is rare in todays market. Simply put - playing here is wonderful experience!

One of my favorites, teed off this morning at 6:20 and finished at 10:30. Nice pace. I guess they were planning for the heat because a lot of the fairways were wet but no standing water. Bunkers need some work but what really needs to be done is having people fix their ball marks. Please, this course even gives away repair tools and no one seems to use them. I must have fixed 4 or 5 a hole. People, PLEASE repair your ball marks.

Played on 8/22 and 8/23. Absolutely love this course. Played here about a dozen times and am amazed by the layout every time. A great course cut through an old rock quarry,. Some spectacular holes but no two are similar, a wide variety of ways to play many of the holes. Played 6 different clubs off the tees. Many holes to bomb away, and others require some strategy and placement with an iron or hybrid. Well positioned, and deep bunkers, which I am happy to say, now have nice amount of sand! This was a complaint for some time, but appears to be taken care...for the most part. I noticed a couple of bunkers still needed a bit more work, but a vast improvement. Fairways are lush, and guaranteed to give you a perfect lie, when you find them. Greens were a little dissapointing. Medium slow, a little bumpy, and rough. Not rolling real smooth. Customer service was excellent. Someone to get my bags in parking lot, friendly and helpful staff in clubhouse, on course service was around to serve several times, and good service after the round as well. This is a must play for anyone in the area. Talked to a couple of guys from SF who were playing for first time, and they were amazed at the layout. Very unique. Enjoy early in the day, as can get very windy.

Played this track yesterday 8/14 for the 2nd time. And it's much better than our first time out here. We should play this often since it's not too far from my home. Birdied the first hole so i started out with a bang but that's about the only hole i birdied lol . Me and my bro really enjoy playing this track i just hope they put out more discounted email specials. Everything was perfect on this Sunday. Very nice layout and a lot of wide open fairways. And another good thing was it wasn't that hot. If u haven't played Oak Quarry This is a must play course , It is worth the drive. Hoping to bring all my friends here one day.

Kind of a Jekyll and Hyde experience - the fairways, rough and tee boxes are all great (fairways are close to a 9 and rough is very lush - a perfect 10 although punishing if you find it).

Sand - as is always the case here - was very poor. Mainly gravel that was thin and hard packed.

But the greens were the real issue. Soft and slow, they were unbelievably bumpy. The ball didn't just jump up and down but vividly from side to side as well. Nothing ran close to true and both me and my playing partner had several putts in the jaws just to watch them hop to the side at the last minute. I understand they keep them shaggier here for a reason and they have to water them a lot at this time of year, but these were pretty unplayable.

Played on 7/20. A fun course to play that can be challenging if you make it. If you hit it straight, fairly easy course with little trouble to hit around or over when going down the fairway. Greens we... Continue »

Played on 7/20. A fun course to play that can be challenging if you make it. If you hit it straight, fairly easy course with little trouble to hit around or over when going down the fairway. Greens were decent, some were a little bumpy, but plenty were rolling well. Fairways were good, rough was thick enough to affect your shot if you don't make crisp contact. Bunkers suck like always, and play your shots out of the bunker with less loft on your club and not as open of a stance to let club dig a little more or else your club might bounce over the ball from hitting the concrete in the bunkers. :) It is definitely worth the 30 or 40 dollars it cost to play during twilight rates.
