This course was a very interesting and fun course. The fairways were in good condition and the greens were somewhat fast and rolled reasonably smooth. Some of the slopes on the greens were just to much to handle. The staff was very kind and the course has a feel of a private club.

Practice areas good- hit off mats.
Fairways very boggy and damp in parts, yet occasional brown spots evident. Bunkers had good sand but it was often wet. Methinks the sprinkler system needs adjusting... Continue »

Fairways very boggy and damp in parts, yet occasional brown spots evident. Bunkers had good sand but it was often wet. Methinks the sprinkler system needs adjusting. Houses and construction everywhere around but never felt intrusive.
Like another reviewer, I liked the Disneyesque tunnel abutments!!
Marshalls and cart girls in evidence. Good pace of play. Love the cantina/bar/restaurant. All in all, top notch. Gave it an 8 overall and would definitely play again.

Havent been here for awhile, way too much $$ weekdays and a long drive. Redhawk is in seriously great shape. Better than we remember. They have no senior rate, 8:30 Wed, the parking lot was almost empty, paid and teed off way ahead of time. Staff was very nice, no problems here with that. Greens were fast and smooth and green.Everything but bunkers were in terrific shape. Bunkers have NEW sand in them, stay OUT of them for awhile. We probably wont be back soon, too much $$ when you can play SCGA or Cross Creek for a lot less at senior rate. A nice day. The owner must be a wealthy guy, one would think a little more business would be a good thing. And,, with Pachanga opening a NEW course nearby {Journey to Pachanga} soon one would REALLY think that whatever business one could generate would be good. Ahhh,, not my problem, choices are great right now in the golfing world.

I'm Bandini. I am an SOB. Played this course 6/23/07 Course was in good shape. Greens nice, fairways generally OK, little hardpan on some holes. OK now the service. Other than the guys in the Pro Shop, who were good guys, everyone else was a young punk with a lot of attitude. Cart girl didn't stop (we only saw her once in 18 holes.) The PA was a an ass who didn't acknowledge us, was too busy chasing the cart girl around the course. Bag boy was a punk, even after I tipped him $2 for two bags, didn't even bother to put them in the brackets, just dropped them on the ground and dropped the shoe bag on the ground. Other than that the pace was OK (4.5 hours) and the course and clubhouse buildings are very visually pleasing. The amount of houses on the course sucks, LOL, there are houses on virtually EVERY hole. Will play again.

I PLAYED THE COURSE FOR THE FIRST TIME ON 6/15/07 AND I MUST SAY THAT I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND OVERALL CONDITION OF THE COURSE. SOME OF THE FAIRWAYS ON THE BACK 9 WERE A LITTLE DRY BUT ALL IN ALL WHAT A GREAT PLACE TO PLAY. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THE USUAL, TO MANY HOUSES AROUND THE COURSE RUINING THE NATURAL ATMOSPHERE OF THE AREA. PLAYED IN 4 1/2 HOURS BEHIND A SEMI-SLOW 3 SOME. SOME HOLES WERE CHALLENGING OFF THE TEE SO I RECOMMEND PLAYING WITH SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THE COURSE FOR THOSE BLIND SHOTS. A FEW GREENS DEMAND AN ACCURATE SHOT IN TO THE CORRECT TIER. THEY ALSO HAVE SOME GREAT BRIDGES TO CROSS.

Excellent. Sorry it took me so long to play the course. Difficult but extremely fair. Straightforward, what you see is what you get.

Always a nice feel at this venue. Something about this trac that puts me in a good mood. Stay in the short grass! The rough is tall & THICK!!! If you are in the ruff, expect your next shot to run, run, run. Greens are hard and fast. 9 1/2 to 10. Watch the wind. It changes from tee to green. Enjoy #8 & #17. Have FUN!!! Don't worry about your score.
