Only reason to dislike this track is maybe its demanding. Greens are perfect, fast, faster and slick. General condition is almost perfect. Staff is always professional. Seniors get a $32 rate, if I was a 20 hdcp or above I would not like this place, but, then again I would as it would test me and it would be like playing a Pro's type course. Its all good, worth the drive, we will be back.

Played an SCGA Amateur Net qualifier on 4/12. The course is in wonderful shape. All tees are flat and level. The fairways are firm and provide a decent amount of roll. The rough is lush but never penal. Greenside bunkers are extremely playble but fairway bunkers may be a little soft for most users. The highlight of SCGA's pride and joy is the condition of the greens...ULTRA smooth with roll, roll, and more roll...you better pay attention if you're above the hole or pin high with a breaker. Service in the pro shop and food service was top notch as usual. The only concern is the noise from the heavy earth moving equipment nearby. The new homes around the course don't really distract...the fairways are so generous they [should] never come into play. Bravo to the greenskeepers at this great property!!!

BOY ! IS IT NOISY ! THERE IS TOO MUCH CONSTRUCTION GOING ON. IT IS NOISY ON ALMOST EVERY HOLE. YOU CAN HARDLY CONSENTRATE. THE FAIRWAYS WHERE IN OK CONDITION THEY EVEN HAD SOME AREAS TAPED OFF BECAUSE OF THE RECENT RAINS, SO THAT MADE THE FAIRWAYS VERY SOFT, THE DRAINAGE WAS NOT THE BEST THAT IT SHOULD BE. THE ROUGH WAS LONG AND CHALLANGING, YOU MUST HIT A SQUARE SHOT OR YOU WILL FLY, SOMEWHERE?. THE TRAPS ARE WELL MAINTAIN WITH GOOD QUALITY SAND. TRAPS COME INTO PLAY ON EVERY HOLE SO PLAY WITH GOOD COURSE MANAGMENT. THE GREENS WHERE IN OK CONDITION ALSO. THEY WHEREN'T GREAT LIKE I HAVE READ BEFORE, GIVE THEM A FEW MORE WEEKS FOR GROUND CREW TO GIVE SOME T.L.C. I GOT A INTERNET SPECIAL, SO FEES WHERE WORTH THE DRIVE (1 HR.) I KNOW THIS COURSE COULD BE IN MUCH BETTER CONITION THEN IT WAS, I DO LIKE THE LAY-OUT. I WILL PLAY AGAIN, BUT NOT SOON. MAYE IN A MONTH OR SO.

Long drive but worth every mile. The greens were healing from being aerated so they were a little slow & bumpy. They should be perfect in several weeks. Fairways were in great shape. The new homes around the course have done nothing to improve the scenery. Overall it's a great course. I'll be back.

Pace was slow due to cart path only. I expeected more from this course. For the price, Trilogy and Eagle Glen are better courses.

This course is awesome. If you don't appreciate it's undulating fairways, small greens that tip back to front, outstanding shape, well-carved bunkers, variety of hole designs, and old-style feel, you probably haven't been playing too long... I've played competitive golf all over the country and really haven't seen too many courses I'd rather play. This baby's fair and interesting. The fairway condition reminds me of a private club, and they tip and curve back and forth in a design that bulldozers can't produce. The only thing holding this course back is what you see for about two hours - unsightly manufactured homes of retirees. I live on Redhawk but would drive 20 minutes to play this everyday.
