Early morning Sunday round in under four hours. The course check in and procedures are fairly simple and quick. The tee boxes are all beat to death and a couple are really sloped. The rough was different from hole to hole and from fairway to green side. Some places had well trimmed grass a few inches long you could hit from. Other areas were weeds, grass and the dreaded clover over six inches! You were lucky to find your shot if it entered the clover rough. The fairways had pretty good coverage with tight lies on some holes and fluffy lies on others. The traps I saw were in much better shape than in previous visits, just in need of a little maintenance. The greens all had good coverage but needed to be rolled badly and/or trimmed. The poa was brutal as putts did not hold a line and squirmed like a snake. The course is still honoring their senior rates which makes it reasonable for the conditions.

Cash Only Still. Masks around the facility but not out on the course. Brand New Cart's very nice, no GPS. Played a few weeks ago when courses were opening back up and didn't expect much but gave it a go again and the course is making a turn for the better. Tee Box's still a little rough but the fairways and green's are looking and playing better. Tee'd off on Friday @ 1230pm and finished under 3 hours. Curious to the old fairway directionals no longer out there. If you have played this course you know there is many blind shot's. The one thing that is a CON is that there is no real stand out yardages. I think they need to re-look at that. No sprinkler head yardages and spotty cart path ones. Bunkers are Ground Under Repair due to COVID

Late Sunday afternoon round in under four hours. The pro shop not accepting cash and walk up snack bar open. The new carts are a nice quick ride. The tee boxes were all very dry, shaggy and fairly thin. The fairways are very dry but not to the point where they're crusty yet. The lies were not too bad actually. It appears they are letting the bermuda take over with the heat coming. The rough is very thick, long and full of weeds. The traps are in sorry shape but that's to be expected. The greens are in pretty fair condition but not to their regular standards. The course has raised rates as most others in the valley. Hard to recommend when others rates are better for what is offered.

Played on Monday, 4/27 on a beautiful day. Social distancing rules: must pay with a credit card in Pro shop, face mask required, one person per cart, no water, rakes on course. One foursome teeing off every 15 minutes. Range is OPEN. Rough: 3-5 inches high, very difficult to find the ball. Traps: terrible, hardpan and weeds, played as GUR. Fairways: back nine in better condition than the front BUT they are working (mowing) on them. Greens: little bumpy (front), medium to slow, again the back is better than the front. POP: 4 hours Not worth the $60 green fee but when you haven't played in a month......

One of the reasons I enjoy playing here is the staff is always super friendly and accommodating. They actually make you feel welcome and convey an appreciation that you are patronizing their course.

Conditions are pretty much what Gary00 indicated. Winter/dormant fairways, many tight lies. Greens rolled OK, could be vary quick if you found yourself above the cup. Only in one bunker and it had enough well manicured sand. Most of the tee boxes were fine, a few needing attention.

While not a really difficult course, I just do not seem to be able to put up any kind of decent score here? Despite my inability to play well, enjoyed the round and the weather. Maybe next time I'll figure this place out ?

2/6 birthday round $16 cart fee given a very cheerful and warm welcome on a cool frost delayed start but were 2nd off and only 20 min after our tee time for a # 1/2 POP with no waiting except for our own hunt for the stray shot. Fairways are winter dormant with some greens patches possibly volunteer/residual growth from over seeding years past. Generally ok to good lies with some that were fairly tight but very playable. Rough was mostly short some rather dry and whispy but also some that was juicy around the greens or rather thick on some slopes wide of some fairways. Tees were ok some thin on the par 3s but all quite playable.
Bunkers mostly had good sand especially if you stayed on the up slope.
Greens here are large with tiers and contour so a miss by 3 feet would often result in 30 to 40 feet of remaining putt. they use 6 zones for pins which also adds to the intrigue. There was also a topography influence that kept me confused most of the day. Many uphill approach shots and it seemed that the flatter approaches were guarded by bunkers or water. Would be helpful to have nice high trajectory which is sadly not in my game. Greens rolled consistently at medium fast and were smooth for the most part. Varied layout to keep it interesting. New comfortable carts no GPS. Large practice green DR with cushy mats.
Would definitely play here more if it were a little closer than the 1 hr 10 to get here but stil very worth the occasional trek. Talked with Mike the greens superintendent who was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his care for this course.

Early four hour round on a dry and damp course. The staff and their website guru need to get their act together. The course now offers a senior rate but the last few times playing here I've had "'issues" being charged the correct fee!!! The course itself continues to improve slightly. The tee boxes were mostly dry, thin and beat to death. The fairways are still hit and miss with good and thin coverage. A few of the fairways were soggy in places and dried out in other areas. The maintenance crew needs to get their sprinkler system set so the course is evenly watered (or maybe they aren't given the budget). The traps lack sand and rakes for the sand. The traps were also very wet and unplayable on many holes. The greens are definitely the best part of the course. They are well groomed and fairly quick but a few had many ball marks. I enjoy the layout and location. The senior rates are reasonable for what is offered.

Early round with a friend who lives in the Temecula area. Would have preferred Cross Creek, but we don't always get what we desire. As it turned out, worked out fine as the staff was friendly and accommodating and we were able to get around in well under four hours.

Course conditions are a mixed bag. Some of the greens were firm, some soft, same with pace, but because there are so many tiers on these greens, I'm sure that made it seem inconsistent. The rough however is inconsistent, from thin/bare to thick, depending upon where the ball ends up. Bunkers were OK, enough sand, well raked.

Because I tend to flight the ball lower than most, this course plays tough for me, with so many elevated greens. Some interesting holes. I really enjoy the finishing hole, providing a great opportunity for a birdie, but it makes you hit the shots.

Very quick pace as single yesterday on hot day: 3:15 hours. First time here. Lots of elevation changes and some blind shots. Greens in good shape: Smooth, rolled quick. Fairways were thin, even bare in spots. Rough was very inconsistent. Did not play long from blue tees. Hit some ridges on back of greens and ball rolled down 10-20 feet. #5 was particularly tough as it wraps way around to right from tee box in secluded nook. Fairway 200y out from green goes right of it, then over a small lake. Guessed direction/distance on couple of shots. Recommend coming back as course knowledge could lead to a good score. Course plays in valleys in between homes on both sides of fairways.
