BEWARE...Legends up to their old tricks again, you make a tee time, pay your fee, play along at a real nice pace, and then, you run into their reverse shotgun starts, which they do not tell you about, they used to tell you... but..., before you make your time, ask them about any reverse starts, or you will probably play only 14 holes; you can play all 18, but, because of all the groups on the last holes, it will take you forever to finish; very disappointing. Greens have come back very nicely, tees are so-so, fairways are kind of thin, rough is spotty, and the bunkers need a total rebuild, like a rock underneath, 1/4 inch of sand, looks nice, plays terrible...sorry to be so negative(truthful), but, a real good score was ruined by poor customer service, stay healthy, drive safely, CGG...

Very over rated course in poor condition.
The fairways were very thin and soft...
Bunkers were filled with weeds and rocks...some were even over grown with crab grass.

Tee boxes were not cut and had many divots....some had tall weeds growing right between the tee markers...
Cups on the greens looked like they were in the same place for several days.

Course is not worth $52 dollars on a Saturday Morning... $28 would be a fair price for this place.

Played on 4/28 at 850am. Called the course late to make a next day tee time. Senior rate for $39 on a weekend, I must say that’s a good deal. The course is not as well maintained as most of the other courses in the area, it it’s a challenging layout with greens that will provide a good test of speed and reads. The tee boxes are in dire need of attention. Basically level but really chewed up. Fairways are thin with good coverage over approximately 75% mixed in with scattered brown spots. The rough is well overgrown, dense and clumpy with a mixture of several types of grass. Approach shot to the greens, most have moderate elevation changes and will need a club down. The greens were probably the only highlight of the course. Good roll, a little on the slow side and soft enough to hold most approaches. Pin placement was difficult. Many breaks, no gimmies here. Even 3 footers required a diligent effort. The cart gal caught up with us at #17, so refreshment were not readily available. It was an ok alternative from playing courses in my usual rotation but I don’t think I’ll be making any plans soon to return.

2/5 birthday round $16 cart fee POP just under 4 hours on a beautiful 70 something degree winter morning. Fairways have a mix of grasses some dormant while some are still green causing some uneveness at times. Overall lies were mostly quite good and there was good cushion. Rough is thin with a few random patches of thicker stuff. Tees need some attention mostly thin and some markers were put on the only sloped part of the box. Bunkers need work--looked ok as they were groomed but only the surface was sand covering hardpan.
Greens are really healthy deep green in color with tight thick grass more on the slower side rolling about medium speed. Greens on the larger side with contours and opportunities for multiple pin placements--course uses a numbered pin location to provide more variations.
Staff was extremely helpful and was able to get us out today(were scheduled for tomorrow) as we had gone to another course in the area but were misinformed about criteria for birthday play--quick call to Legends and 30 minutes later we are playing golf

Early Saturday morning 4:15 round only because our group is getting old! There was a tournament that went off shortly after us but we did not see them once! The course is in much better shape with the warmer weather and reduction in over watering. The staff is always great and was once again. The tee boxes were in good shape with only the par three holes being a little rough. The fairways are filling in once again as the warmer days have encouraged the bermuda to grow. There is enough coverage on most fairways that not every shot is a tight lie anymore. The rough has also thickened up on the holes that have it - there are a few fairways that lack rough on one side or the other and bad shots will not get any help. The sand traps have once again become some of the worst around. Many of the traps were hard as concrete and muddy wet messes! Most all of the traps are in desperate need of sand and care! The greens are in excellent shape right now with very few unrepaired marks. I can definitely recommend a round here now and if you can get a discount somewhere it is a bargain!

Decided to attempt to take advantage of their birthday special. (Within 7 days of your birthday) I had concerns about frost, and when I pulled into the parking lot, my car showed 37 degrees. I was certain they would call frost, but to my surprise, they said no frost!

However, despite the cold, it was very busy, which surprised me given it is New Years Day. I teed off second behind a single, who finally allowed me to play through after #9. Despite the fact that I played the front nine in 52 minutes (In a cart) there was a couple ladies right on my tail. Once I got through the single, I put some distance between us, finishing in 1 hour 45 minutes, which honestly is too fast to enjoy the round. I was kind of hoping to play a couple balls and enjoy a more leisurely pace, something around 2 - 2 1/2 hours.

The greens were the best part of the course. They rolled well and were very receptive to holding shots. Plus their speed was not so fast that you could be a bit more aggressive. (The greens at Coto are so fast now, every putt is played defensively) Fairways are very thin and dormant, which provided lots of roll, but are very "tight". The one bunker I was in was great ! Rough also dormant and thin/patchy.

Played well, which was surprising given the super cold temperatures and the pace I had to play. Temeku, I mean Legends, has never been a favorite of mine, but it does have a number of good holes, so I'm happy I made the decision to make the drive and start the new year with a positive beginning.

Played here 12/28/17 by myself. Tee'd off early at around 7:30am. Tee Boxes were pretty choppy and uneven. Fairways were trimmed and good and had bare spots all over because of the season. Grass is still healthy it's just a different color. Some areas were over watered on the front 9 which created a lot of mud. Sandtraps were a little too wet but still fluffy enough to get out of. Pace of play was 3 hours for myself. Pin Placements were the hardest ive ever played on a course and the greens held balls greatly and rolled very true! Greens were in great shape and rough was true rough. I definitely will come back and play not so much because of the conditions but because of the difficulty of these greens and pin placements. I did have to wait about 15 minutes on hole #18 because the men's league had started! ADVICE- DO NOT PLAY ON THE DAYS MEN'S LEAGUE PLAYS IT WILL BE A 6 HOUR ROUND FOR YOU!!!! They are SUPER SLOW older men!

Early sub four hour round on a wet soggy course. The tee boxes were in fair shape with a few being thin on coverage. The fairways are very dormant where the bermuda was with slight to no coverage (many places with no coverage). The sections of fairway that have other types of grasses are okay but nearly nonexistent. There were many holes that are very soggy in and along the fairways - this makes for a frustrating round compounded with very thick rough were it existed. The kikuyu grass has come back strong with the shorter days and was also very inconsistent condition wise. Some kikuyu was thin and fluffy while others were tight, thin and dry. The few traps we were in were pathetic. The traps were all compacted thin damp sand or MUD!! The best part of the course is still the greens. Almost all the holes had great coverage and held approach shots well. The greens had very few ball marks and rolled quicker as the sun and wind dried them out. The staff is always professional and welcoming to the public here. Sorry but I cannot recommend a round here until the weather warms up and the conditions improve.

Greens: soft, smooth and medium speed.

Fairways: some brown spot but overall in good condition.

Rough: 1-3" high, not very difficult.

Traps: worst part of the course, very hard packed sand/dirt.

Nice practice green, driving range but was closed for maintenance.

Course is in decent condition. Recommend but get a discount, plenty of 2 for $69 deals out there.
