Played here August 25th. I live next to Dos Lagos, i've played here since it opened at least 20 times. Fool me once > twice > five times, etc. Dos Lagos will never see me again. The last few times i've played, severe overbooking, rookies working in the golf shop, slowest rounds i've ever played and poor conditions (there are multiple divot marks on the greens, no one rakes the sand). I even saw someone drive across the 11th green this past weekend! Teed off at 11:15am, finished the front 9 in 3 hours (a threesome in front of us), the back 9 a little better 2 hours and 45 minutes. Honestly this place is a joke. Much better options at Eagle Glen, Hidden Valley or Glen Ivy in the area.

Played at 7am on a Saturday. Nobody on the practice green or 1st tee. There is no range here, just a few hitting stalls, but don't bother. The balls will scuff and mark your club faces. Tee box #3... Continue »

Played at 7am on a Saturday. Nobody on the practice green or 1st tee. There is no range here, just a few hitting stalls, but don't bother. The balls will scuff and mark your club faces. Tee box #3 needs leveling so keep that in mind on that shot. Majority of the greens are riddled with ball marks but other than that they are decent right now (at least in the morning). Service at the turn was good and we did see a cart girl once. The pace was good (4.5hr taking our time) and the fairways and bunkers were satisfactory. Rough was more than fair. I wouldn't recommend playing in the afternoon, when we came off 18, it was a zoo, maybe 30 golfers by the 1st tee and practice green.

Played here 08/12/13 teed off at 2:00 pm so I knew wind would kick up. Course was pretty much wide open so a great time to get your on course practice in. Pace of play was great approx 3.1 hours. The course in all was in bad shape. Tee boxes have been over played and dry. Looks as if they hadn't been moved in a week . Greens were all marked, scuffed and dry. Fairways were also lacking water. May have just been the Monday blues but com'on ! I have played here often, but not in 4 months or so and there has been a serious decline since then. However still a great bargain and nothing that water and a kick in the rear to the grounds crew can't fix. Great layout and challenge . The staff is always great.

Tee Boxes - majority of them were leveled with a few that were not

Fairways - they lush and green with no bare spots. There were some areas with dampness but I guess due to the over watering or it didn't drain well overnight

Roughs - about 1-2" cut and lush. Really have to hit your ball to get out from

Bunkers - looked good from my point of view since I didn't get into any

Greens - were rolling pretty true surprising. From med/fast. I guess it was rolling about a 10.5

Overall, it was an enjoyable round. We were rained on for a few holes but nothing we can't handle

Played yesterday 7-14-13. The green of front 9 holes are nightmare. It's very slow,look horrible with lot of un-repair ball mark and scratch. Back 9 little better and playable.

This was my first time playing here. The course is in quite good shape. I booked through their website for $37 at 6:28 on Friday, July 5, which seemed like a great deal. Was happy they weren't charging holiday rates that day.

The greens are very quick here and quite firm. Was only in one bunker and it had good sand. I agree with 1runner in that the fairways are also in great condition right now. Pace of play was decent at 4:10.

No complaints!

Played dos lagos today at 330. Only the 2nd time Ive played this course, but I will come back again. Affordable prices, lush fairways, and interesting holes. I really enjoyed this round despite being behind a lot of hackers. Tee boxes were good, some divot damage on par 3s. Fairways were great, truly some of the best fairways I've played this year. Greens were firm and fairly fast, some unrepaired ball marks on certain holes, but not bad. Rough is pretty short, but cut nicely, not very tough. Some really long difficult holes, but also plenty of scoring holes.

Played Dos Lagos on Sunday 6/2/13. Tee time 10:28am and was off right on time. POP was a fantastic 4 hours flat and could have been faster if not for a slower twosome a couple groups ahead. Course is mostly target golf however it's a Par 70 that is over 6500 yards from the blues and plays longer than that since a lot of the holes play into the wind. Length AND accuracy are rewarded here. Holes 10-14 are the only holes that are truly wide open to grip it n rip it.

Tees- Level and lush coverage everywhere, cut to the perfect height.

Fairways- Looks great, plays great, feels great. Nothing more you could ever ask for. Best I've ever seen them in years.

Rough- Not much to speak of as is usually the case here other than the areas surrounding the greenside bunkers. Some of those areas were nasty thick bermuda and balls would sit all the way down making clean contact really tough.

Bunkers- Was in a couple today and both were filled with high quality sand and were great to hit out of even if they may not look all that great. But they play great.

Greens- Maybe the only part I would mark a notch below excellent. Medium speed at best. Mostly smooth, with some damage from disrespectful players who refuse to repair their ball marks. Softer than normal but would hold almost any type of shot. Note: when chipping into the wind go ahead and throw the ball all the way to the hole, it'll stop with any kind of semi-clean contact.

Customer Service/Facilities- Staff is very friendly and the beverage cart made several passes throughout the round. The "temporary" clubhouse is now going on year 10 or however long it's been since the course opened lol. No range as most of you know by now. Just 4 hitting stations with nets. Practice green next to 1st tee/starter is convenient.

Misc.- Wind was brutal today. So much so that #17 the short downhill par 3 played longer than the posted yardage because the wind was directly into us at about 25mph when we got to the tee. Used the Underpar voucher for $29 which is a fantastic deal. So much so that we bought 4 more vouchers before the deal ends. Will be back again very soon!
