Played again 10/29/06 at noon.I forgot this is first day of end of day light saving we could not finish the round. 3 tee times of 11 somes as usual very accesible to get tee times 5 days before.As last time, general conditions are very acceptable, little to complain.Greens healed well from aeration you see just 2-3 greens punch marks all others you can't even notice that.Rolling smooth with good speed and hold very well even I experienced some good back spins.Decent fairways & tee boxes.From now at least 11;30 have to start to finish till next summer.

It's like I found a little jewel in campestral chino. Played 9/16/06 saturday starting tournamemt at 12.51 .2 weeks before I tried to reserve Mile square ,2 times I called they transfered to tournament director but never answered and I leaved the message but never called me back.So I called EL PRADO noticed by greenskeeper's good rated point of more than 7 point ,and they said O.K. JUST SHOW UP ! No prepay,No credit card,No tournament fees, just with my last name I reserved 4 consecutive tee times from 1;00 p.m. And same week I called to add 1 more tee time they give me one at 12.51
From the begining I was a little bit surprised but when we started to play the grata surprise get bigger.Time ago I played Butterfield and Chino Creek was my first time.They charged us only $37.00 midday rate x person but thier course conditions could compare with one of $100 bucks without exaggeration.Exellent greens-----hold well,rolling smooth with good speed & break,well pressed with beatiful green colour grass. Fairways nothing to complaint except 1 or 2 holes had bare hard dry ground.
Now always questionable of this course & Goose Creek.
Cow's #### smell ... I think This question should resolve each person how to take the point of view or thinking .I just said to my buddies "It's not good one day of with country & nature's fragance?" And They just agreed with me. ha-ha-ha.

first time at this course...and the last. Good price for midday weekend..$37 with cart, but you get what you play for. Thin, bare fairways. Slow greens....pockmarked...does anyone fix their ball marks around here? We played as a foursome and were pushing the twosome ahead of us. Talked to the "players assistant" and asked that they speed them up....told us he would, and then drove right past them without saying a thing! We were told the beverage cart was out on the course, never saw him/her...no water containers to be seen.
My friend that played here said this used to be a really nice course.
Too bad....some of the holes were very interesting...I wish I could have played here when it was in better shape. Next time I want to play in this area, I'll fork out the extra $20 and play Los Serranos!

Course is in good shape. THe greens are smooth as always and they hold shots very well even if you use a low spin ball. My second 18 was Chino Creek. I did not see hardly any other golfers the entire round. Was it the heat? Was it the new green fees? ($26 to walk weekdays, not $24) New tees added to 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, making the course play around 6850 yards. 18 can be played behind the 440 yard mark to about 475 yards making it a long long par 4.

I admit it, these not the greatest courses in the world, but you can get out in the morning quickly and the condition of the courses is always decent. The staff is always friendly and as a senior walking .... cheap to play. A nice alternative to the "high end courses in south Orange County.

Played Mem. day as a 5 some..finished in under 5hrs...pretty cool. Only down part that 5 somes req. carts, no walking.

Played 5/22/06...I was pleasantly surprised at the nice conditions here. I haven't played here in a year but I must say that for 21 bucks w/ red-dot book it was an unbeatable bargain. The fairways were pretty nice.....at times even lush.....greens were large and smooth.....not extremely hard but fair.....we even went over to the butterfield side to play an extra "9" and it was nice over there as well! We lucked out because it was the only day of the week that there was rain-which totally chased the flies away and neutralized the cow smell....A great bargain overall...worth every penny.

Nice Course in good condition, very much worth the green fees. The cow smell, flies, gun shooting, and pollen get annoying after awhile, but I expected it. If you have allergies I wouldnt recommend playing this course.

Course is nice and greens are perfect- Customer service was lacking a little bit. I live too far from this course to play it again. But if you are in the riverside area I would recommend this course as a nice practice play. Fees are nice and their driving range is all grass which is a plus.
