Played Fri Aug 24th at 707, good breakfast at 6 as usual. We knew it was going to be a slow day as we checked in at the starter and the 4 some in from of us were teed up on the green tees. Waited forever for the fairways to clear like they were going to hit it 300 yards, well first 2 hit and went way right with the second guy going over the fence into the parking lot. There is a hint if you play here, DO NOT park close to the fence on hole one, park towards the road even if you have to walk farther to the club house. So second 2 guys walk up to the white tees and both of them just drill it to the center of the fairway. Hum..... and it was slow at POP 420, we usually play under 4. About the course extremely over watered, rough is long and wet, fairways wet and soggy in places, bunkers a mixture but most mud and or hard sand, NO nice fluffy sand, greens were very soft and receptive allot of ball marks to repair and allot that were not repaired by the group or groups in front of us. Greens were not slow and rolled nice. We will come back Friday Sept 7th for my free birthday round.

Played Tues Jul 3rd at 722, good breakfast easy check in, got out on time, no one in front of us and no one behind us POP was 339 good day and pace, I think the secret is to get out from 645 to 720, the course gets busy after 730 plenty of golfers behind us. Course was very wet again, no roll out in the fairways, bunkers were wet and or muddy, greens were very wet, very large ball marks to repair every hole, and on 2 greens my ball actually plugged in its own mark. The more you play a course the more comfortable you get and we play here allot, I mean $30 senior riding with players card is hard to beat. We will be back Friday with our OFG group.

Played Tues jun 12th at 705, check in good, saved me $5 that I was not aware of. This is a good time to go out, absolutely no one in front of us, POP was 320, actually finished too early for lunch, course is in good shape except they appear to be over watering the traps, friend was in 4 and they were very wet sand, they also have new GPS in their carts and since I forgot my watch I relied on it. They even have options to play music, which of course we did not, the feature I don't like is speed control, down to 2 mph on some hills, I guess their lawyers pushed for this to cover the course for the very few drunks drivers out there lol, oh and man do they have allot of ads and such, always touching the screen to get back to the hole.

Played Fri Jun 1st at 738, used the last of my free rounds, breakfast great as usual, we usually play between 7 and 725, but got a latter tee time. That will not happen again, POP is usually 345 to 400 for us and this time it 430, now some people say that is OK but for us very slow, that is why we will book earlier nect time. Overall course is good, tee boxes fine, fairways fine, greens receptive on high shots with ball marks to fix, bumkers not good, we had everything, mud, dirt, wet sand and good sand, a real mixed bag, still at $35 senior week day it is a good deal, we will be back tuesday

POP was fantastic, under 3.5 hours and 1/2 our group walked including myself. was a little mix up in shop when i arrived around 6:45 (i had my TT and a 7:20 ish TT booked and called day b4 and they told me they kept 7:20 and canceled the early one, but clearly someone screwed up) but i told the starter what happened, promptly teed off played 1 alone and then caught up to my group on 2 tee. conditions were solid but did notice a few fairways that should have been in better shape or marked as GUR in spots. all in, given course quality / challenge / POP / greens fee, was well worth it and very valuable.

Played 4-27-18 first out as a single, walking for $30 in 2 hours and 25 minutes. Tee boxes were in good shape, mostly level and semi-lush. Fairways were in real good condition, mostly lush with real nice lies with an occasional small thin area. Rough was cut pretty low with some thin and bare spots. Was not in any bunkers but they looked to be in descent shape with a few of the fairway bunkers having standing water in them. Greens were rolling nice at medium speed and were very receptive to well struck shots. They did look to have had a light top dressing on them recently. Overall course is in good shape and worth the green fee.

Played 4/26. POP 4.5. Overall course was in good shape however greens appeared to have just been sanded. They rolled med fast. Good day of golf.

Played the North on Saturday 4/14. 7:45 am tee time. Los Serranos is in our rotation and we are playing there regularly. We love it and just don’t get tired of either course. As I have in the years past, bought the Players card and although there are many benefits, just not as good as previous years. Still a good deal.

Pace of play 4:24. Slow for us and although we waited on a few holes, our group needs to pick it up a bit. The course is in really nice condition. Kikuyu fairways were cut down and we got lots of roll out. Really nice lies. The rough was thicker than we’ve seen in the past but very lush. Sand traps are in great condition. As the previous reviewer indicated, they are replacing the two deep bunkers in front of #16 green and replacing them with “normal” bunkers. Good move though. That hole needs greenside bunkers.

Greens are in good shape. A little bumpy and rolled true but expecting them to be Los Serranos fast. Not there yet but soon I hope.

It’s always a good day out at Los Serranos. Great guys in the club house and Richard the starter, has a great sense of humor. After, stop in and have lunch in the restaurant. All of the servers are great and so is the food.

Played Fri Apr 6th ar 722, use my first free round from the book I purchased last time, went very smooth. Course was in good condition, tee boxes good fairways good coverage, rough was long and wet, very penal, I was in a few bunkers and have never seen the sand better on the North course. Ok side note, I was in 4 bunkers and used my 64* callaway sure out wedge and got out evertime with one shot and 3 times made the putt for an up and down, my friend was in 4 bunkers and twice took 2 shots to get out and twice got out into a trap on the other side of the green, and he is a 14 hdcp. Point is I suggested to him to try the sure out and he is letting his pride and machoism get in the way of scoring better. Anyway back to the course, greens rolled well, a few bumps on 2 of them and some down hill putts were guite fast, I don't think I mentioned it before but the course took out those 2 deep pot bunkers on #16, looks like they will replace with normal bunkers, I will not miss those pot bunkers, they didn't fit the course and they never had good sand, just dirt.
