Played Tues March 30th at 730. Check in fast and wasn't too busy. Driving range must open at 9am on Tuesday because maintenance was being done. The south was punched last week so we didn't expect much, they reduced rates allot. The punch job was 3/8" hole 1 1/2" apart and yes it affected roll, lol. On approach shots your ball always came to rest in a hole, not much sand on the greens but very slow and the holes moved the ball around. The first hole had some major weeds growing by the cart part where your 2nd shot would land. If you kept in the fairways you had a decent shot, the rough was hit and miss and it was getting longer. A few tee boxes have seen better days. There were no rakes for bunkers, but you didn't need them, there was no sand and just hard dirt and mud, very disappointing from the nice bunkers at Sierra lakes last Friday. IMHO the greens will take 4 weeks at least to heal, so if you go just be in a mind set that putting will not be good. That said we will be back in 2 weeks, lol The course was very busy at 11:30 when we finished. POP was ok at 345.

Played Friday March 5th at 738, range was open so hit a few balls, the range is usually under maintenance that early. We have the weekday card and as of March 1st the price of the south course went up from $38 to $45, don't know how much the north went up. Got out on time and the south was very busy. POP was 432, a bit slow. Most par 3's had a group on the tee box and 2 groups waiting Conditions are drying out even more and there is alot of run in the fairways, sand was dry on top but a little wet underneath, greens were even faster than last time with a few ridiculous placements. Hole 6 par 3 the pin was towards the front and if you were past it and got to the hole, the ball would run the 30 feet off the front of the green. There were a few others also. Do not be above the holes here. They were puting out tee markers for a junior tournament and it felt weird teeing it up from the same tees as the under 10 boys and the 10 to 12 girls. We play the golds, and those are the correct tees for us, the group in front of us should have played the golds also after watching a few of their drives. We will be back Tuesday

Played Sunday 2/21 in a tournament starting about 9:30 am. It was pretty crowded with another tournament going off the North course about the same time. I had to wait to hit some balls on the range. Nice to be at a course with open putting greens but the one I hit some on was faster than the course which caused some difficulty on the first hole. Food and beverage service through the back door still. Cheerful and efficient service though.

I think Chevelle's last review is spot on. The greens were very firm and it was difficult to spot divots. They also rolled really well at a fast speed. Late there were some tough pin positions to be above such as 17 which was in the back right. An 8 handicap in our group four-putted two greens. Fun to watch until it was your turn.

The rest of the course was in pretty good winter shape as Chevelle noted. The sand traps were an exception in that they had not been raked for a while (and no rakes available per Covid mandates). Good sand but with a crust and there were many historical footprints. We were playing lift and place in the bunkers if needed. It was.

Always a pleasure to be out here. I love the layout and appreciate the work the owners do to keep it in good condition. I'll be back.

Played Tues feb 9th at 826, check in fast, was fairly busy. POP was slow at 4.23, they are letting the course dry up quite a bit, some tee boxes were hard and pushing in the tee was difficult, fairways were short and ran some, traps appeared to be hard, and greens were very hard, and ran, next to no ball marks to repair. Hit some good approach shots but when got to the green had a much longer putt than i thought I would have. The putting green open but they are always doing maintenance on the driving range so maybe it doesn't open until 9am.

Played Tues feb 2nd at 818. Got out on time following a 4 some from the blues, they struggled the first nine holes but all of a sudden they really picked up the pace. First few holes the fairways were a little soft but the sun dried up the course pretty good. I played terrible and chunked many of my iron shots and it was me, not being too muddy. Hole 11 is still cart path only and a few holes like#1 had large ropped off areas. With the rain friday, I expected soft greens, but the course has let the greens dry out allot. The outside eating is now open from 7am to 4pm if you want breakfast or lunch. POP was 409 We will be back next week.

Played the South this morning with a 9:22 am tee time. Running about 10 minutes behind from the start, and we had to wait on the group in front of us a little more than we would have liked, but still finished around 4:30 POP, so not too bad all things considered. Played the "Jack's Blacks" and WOW is this course long from those sets of tees. My putting was atrocious the front 9, but came around on the back and my score dropped accordingly (48/41). Made Par on the behemoth that is 18, so I consider that a win. Course was in pretty decent shape for this time of year. The first couple of holes had some mud and the course did not roll out as much as I am accustomed to due to it being a little soft, but it was fair for sure. Greens were in great shape, rolled true (minus me not being able to control my speed on the front) and held shots. Fairways were fair and you found yourself in a good lie more often than not. Rough wasn't too bad most of the time, but I did find myself in a very thick bit on one of the holes on the front. Took an extra club than I normally would for the distance but I still caught it fat. All in all I would definitely return and would consider their "Players Club" program. 6 rounds for $215 during the week or $345 anytime. Seems like a great value.

Played Tues January 26th at 810, check in fast and friendly, course was not very busy at check in because it was 32 degrees, LOL the first 6 holes went very slow, but the pace picked up at hole 8. There are allot of roped off areas and hole 11 was cart path only. We played the gold tees as usual which makes the front 9 allot more fun if you are a shorter hitter or beginner. IMHO allot more groups should be playing the golds but we all know it is an ego thing that prevents guys from doing that, I shot 85 and that is allot more fun than shooting 97 from the whites or 107 from the blues. Some fairways were a little wet from the rain, was not in any traps but looked very wet, greens rolled good. No beverage cart but the clubhouse is not tented any more. The parking lot was very crowded when we left so people waited for warmer weather. We will be back next Tuesday

Played Tues jan 12th at 750. The club house and starter shack are tented for termites, so it was a little conjested around the outside. They have 4 porto potties and wash stations out front. No food or coffee, putting and driving range open. Don't know how long this will be. Check in was actually guick and easy. Got out on time, playing from the golds, following a 3 some, waited on the first 2 holes but then they took off, we caught them again on 16 so POP was ok at 411. Because of tenting, no cart girl. Tee boxes from golds were ok except #3 was very wet and soggy. Fairways were ok, a few wet soggy spots, a few bare spots, traps were a mix, some decent sand and some not, don't get in the lefy green side bunker on 17, very hard packed dirt. Greens had a light coating of sand, no holes just sand, made them a little slower but they rolled semi ok, we will be back in 2 weeks.

The course is way to wet. Greens rolled well , traps terrible. POP was 402. New carts were nice as they road alot smoother. We are going back Christmas eve again.
