the greens were the best part of this course. the layout is above average, but there are not many memorable holes. the aprons around the greens are in very poor shape right now.

Greens are the best I've seen in some time. Narrow track, but fair. Some beautiful elevated tees. Course was practically empty...finished in under 4 hrs.

THE COURSE WAS GREAT, GREAT CONDITION, FAIRWAYS GREEN AND SLIGHTLY MOIST PERFECT FOR DIVOTS , GREENS VERY NICE AND CONSISTANT THROUGHOUT, NO GPS , THEY ARE IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING RID OF THE EXISTING SYSTEM DUE TO FAULTY READINGS AND THE CO. APPARENTLY WOULDN'T CORRECT THE PROBLEMS. SO THE COURSE IS MARKED BUT NOT ALWAYS AN EASY FIND. DIDN'T MATTER FOR US WE HAD A BUSHNELL 1500 PINSEEKER WHICH ALWAYS MAKES THE JOB EASY! THEY ALSO SELL THE COURSE CADDY BOOKLET IN THE PRO SHOP FOR 6.50 AND IF YOUV'E SEEN THESE LITTLE BOOKLETS THEY ARE AWESOME. AN ENJOYABLE DAY OUT , THE COURSE WAS NOT BUSY FOR US , BUT THE SNACK BAR WAS A POPULAR SPOT AND IT WAS WARM AT TIMES SO I WOULD SUGGEST BRING SOME WATER ALTHO THEY DID HAVE SOME WATER COOLERS ON THE COURSE BUT A FEW WERE EMPTY. THE DRIVING RANGE IS SHORT, MAYBE 250 AT BEST SO IF YOU DRIVE IT LONG YOU MAY NOT GET MUCH WARM UP WITH THE DRIVER.

This is my second time playing pala mesa over the last several weeks. Awesome golf course. Tough and tight! I played the tips, and thoroughly enjoyed my rounds. I played afternoon golf, $29.00 after three p.m. Well worth the money.
I will be back!!!

Havent been here for maybe 12 years and didnt take long to remember why. To be fair, the greens were good,tee boxes and fairways OK. Layout wasnt anything our group cared for, tight,lots of doglegs,o/b markers on almost every hole on both sides of the fairways. Bunkers were dirt,hard dirt, staff in snack shop at the turn was a 2 hole back-up. We wont be back.

Played Wednesday, April 26, at 8:22 and finished in less than 4 hours. Got a $45 coupon rate vs. the regular $69 greens fee with cart. Greens are still in great shape - soft enough to hold shots and allow for spin, lots of subtle slopes. Many tough pin positions today - most were within 3-5 paces of the edge of the green. What's up with that? Looks like they aerated the fairways - you can still see the punch-holes, but the fairways are in decent shape. Within a couple of weeks this course should be pristine.
