Played 5/9 tee time 0712. Nobody and I mean nobody on the course except the group in front of us and they played fast enough to keep us from waiting and we finished at 4 hours on the nose. Everything except the sand traps was in excellent shape. Tee boxes need a little grooming and people still have to learn to repair divots in the fairway and on the greens, but neither were of any significance or took away from our enjoyment in any way. This course is all about playing golf!!! Met at our car with carts, pro shop no trying to push anything extra, marshalls actually helpful vice trying to keep you from holding up regulars, clubhouse personnel ready to serve you instead of in the kitchen or elsewhere. Wish I could get those that worked at Coronado out here to observe what good customer service is!!! Excellent course in excellent condition at affordable prices and one that needs to go into the regular rotation.

Played 2/8/10 fun round, course was still a little moist from the rain and should get a tad worse since we have a 1 1/2 days of rain coming today and tomorrow. Traps had standing water, some points in the fairways did as well. Greens were in very good condition considering the storms and lack of water before that. If you can get a tee time at 40$ or under I would consider coming out. Anything over that and I think you can find a better deal elsewhere.

Played today from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Course still had 4 holes listed as over seeded which meant you were walking these holes since you were unable to drive your cart onto the holes. Not as bad as it sounds. Like a previous post stated - the Fairways needed a trim. Greens weren't as good as they were 2 months ago. Some folks just don't fix their pitch marks I suppose!

Overall it was a nice day. Better than some of the other courses I have visited in the area as of late.

Outside of that, you'll get an occassional shaggy tee box. Greens are pretty decent, although they are bordering on having divot mark problems.

Played Sunday December 29th using JC Discount card. The course was wet so cart path only rule was in effect. The first three holes will test you out of the gate. Solid par threes and par 5's, especially number 18 which has a narrow three tiered green. Some of the par 4's require position tee shots --- 3 wood. The course plays fair with no gimmicky holes or blind shots. An enjoyable course with friendly staff and we saw the cart girl three of four times.

Played in a tournament this morning. Course is in decent shape considering the heat, wear of summer play and that most courses are performing some type of maintenance. It cost me nothing so that is always a plus, not sure how much the rate is here but I don't think I'd pay more than $60 here. The greens I thought were in great shape, very good pace to them and a smooth roll. Fairways and rough were in good condition. Wasn't in the trap so no comment there. The course has some holes where they are tight but overall a playable course.

Excellent course that will challenge all levels of play and course management. Tee off before 9 AM and finish under 4 hours (a very good possibility - we finished @ 4 hrs 7 mins) and get a certificate for a preferred tee time up to two weeks in advance. Cart guys meet you at your car with carts, the starter tells about any holes with special needs and the marshall will assist whenever he's around, the pro shop guys are all about getting you on the course instead of selling you something. The only downside was all the divot marks on the greens, I was repairing 5+ every green, not including mine or those in my putting line. But overall the course is a good deal and one that I will play again.
