Played the course early on a Saturday morning. Course was in decent shape. The greens are almost fully recovered from maintenance. They are are slower then usual. Pace was excellent and we finished in 3 1/2 hours.

I played Twinoak's yesterday 3/29. Overall the course was in good shape but the greens had just been sanded. Approach shots held fairly well and only ran a few feet after hitting the putting surface. The fairways were mainly thin but added a lot of roll out yardage to drives. They have removed the right green side bunker on the second par five on the front nine. The cart girl came by a few times the pub chips in the clubhouse are especially nice.

The cold temps have taken some toll. Everything is going or gone dormant.
The fairway's were very thin, dry and would have been mostly brown if it weren't for the green dye they painted them with. The green contrast gave a nice visual appearance. They were mostly very tight lies. They played fair to hit from, but needed good ball striking and had lots of roll out.
Greens were in pretty good shape. Some visual remnants of the last aeration, but they ran fairly well. A few bumps here and there and were pretty quick at a little above med. fast.
They claimed they were running at 9. But, I'd say they were a little quicker , some where above 10.
Rough pretty much none existent unless you really go off line. Traps firm and most T's in decent shape with some a little beat up and uneven.
Not really full rake rate quality, but at a decent price still fun, with slightly challenging conditions.

played 11/16 under par $37 deal 9am tee time got off 15 min early behind 2some and 20 min behind 4some which let us thru on 7. 3hr 10 min round in moderate to mild wind conditions.course has not fully healed from punching greens but the approach of doing 1/2 greens alternating front back pin placement generally worked well.
fairways were dry but had decent dormant grass cover. bunkers were wet often with standing water
staff is very friendly and easy going helping to promote a golfer oriented experience

I have always enjoyed playing this course. Maybe it's because it doesn't have any long par 4 holes, but the par 3s and the last two par five holes kind of make up for it. Just a fun track to play !... Continue »

I have always enjoyed playing this course. Maybe it's because it doesn't have any long par 4 holes, but the par 3s and the last two par five holes kind of make up for it. Just a fun track to play ! Lots of birdie possibilities and a some strong holes as well.

Staff was perfect ! Was first off at 6:16 am and back on the road by 8:40 am. The overall condition of the course was good, but almost all the greens had bare areas. They rolled well and were very receptive to well struck shots, so let's hope the punching later next month resolves those issues. The course is a bit pricey, but using a groupon made it reasonable.

Teed off at 8 AM on Friday, 9/18. First time playing here in one year and I was pleasantly surprised. Good customer service. Greens: very soft which caused some problems with ball marks that were not fixed properly causing bumpy conditions, medium to fast speed. Fairways: excellent except for 2-3 on the back nine which had some bad spots but they were sanded and marked off. Didn't get a bad lie all day! Rough: some thin lies but that the penalty for being in the rough. Traps: raked with plenty of sand. Driving range REALLY needs some new mats. POP: at 4 hours.

Played this course on August 29, 2015 and found it utterly delightful.
Fun but challenging layout, long enough but yet not too long, and some of the nicest greens I have run across in years. Admittedly I do play most of my golf in the La Quinta Area on Bermuda greens, but I'm still familiar with what great bentgrass greens roll like, and these were all even - and rolling at about 10 on the stimp meter.
If you can hit it fairly straight, I heartily recommend this course to you.
I look forward to coming back as soon as possible to play it again!

Played TO on Saturday, 2/21, and the course is in TERRIBLE condition. Half of each green was recently punched. Holes were located on the non-punched half, but those portions were extremely bumpy, soggy, covered with footprints and ball marks, etc. Fairways were brown and burned out/dry in many areas, tons of divots, really poor hitting conditions. Bunkers were inconsistent - some had deep sand, others had < 1" before your club would hit clay. Very frustrating to not be told about course conditions/maintenance when you book your tee time - you're stuck with what you get when you show up. After finishing our round, my group swore we wouldn't play here again for several months in the hopes they'll improve their playing conditions. Total waste of money this time around.
