Got on first twilight time noon for $27 as a twosome. Started the round though 15 minutes behind. Pace was slow waiting on every hole, so we ended up just pairing up with the twosome behind us at hole 4. On the turn we bypassed the slow group in front of us on 10, and played the hole at the end of the round and at the point, we moved along nicely.

Course was pretty disappointing. Fairways were painted green with lots of bare and thin spots, which local twosome we played with said was because of water issues the course has been having. Tee boxes was uneven and a few had so much sand on them that it was like hitting out of a sand trap. Front 9 was standard layout and overall in worse condition. Back 9 was much more enjoyable with some nice holes around water and in overall better condition. Course is easy and gives you lots of chances to score, but was overall an average experience.

Got on for $30 mid day and was able to avoid the $16 advanced booking fee. The booking fee has been a major deterent for me since they implemented it, but I still think this course is one of the best values in the county. 4 of the holes are right on the water and come with excellent views. The closing 3 holes from the Hotel del Coronado/boatyard back to the clubhouse are phenomenal.

This course is very flat so it is one of the easiest courses to walk. Unfortunately, because so many people walk and don't have the divot repair mix, this course has a fair amount of unfilled divots. But aside from that, the fairways are really great lush carpet and not too firm. The rough was pretty short, not very penal. A few holes even let you play your errant shots out of sand, not bunker, but actual beach sand. I had to on the dogleg 17. Greens were rolling well with not many ball marks or other bumps, a little on the soft side.

Course is on the longer side, but very forgiving making it one of the easiest courses around. Lots of holes running parallel to each other and the only main hazards are the lakes on 8, 9 and the ocean on 3, 16, 17, 18

Downside is that this course always plays slowly. 10:45 mid week and the round was just under 5.5. It is very rare to finish a twilight round, so don't expect to.

Played here on Black Friday morning for a reasonable rate of $55. Cart comes with a basic text GPS that tells you distance to green and some of the major bunkers/hazards from tee box. Front 9 is very straightforward with a lot parallel fairways. Back 9 is more fun as it takes you back behind the range towards the Vineyards. Fairways were in good condition and rough was not very penal. Sand was muddy from the on and off rain but didn't seem to be very good quality even dry. Greens were a little bumpy but overall rolled nicely. No difficult greens to read. No cart girl the entire time I was out there. I like the layout and it is a relatively easy course.

I played here on Veteran's Day at a noon tee time for $32. The course seemed horribly unprepared to handle the number of people on the course. We ended up being delayed by 30 minutes. A slow round the whole way prevented us from playing the last whole. One of the problems with this course is that there are alot of short par 4s that tempt players to drive at the green, when they shouldn't. The group in front of us sat at the tee box waiting from the group in front of them to finish the hole. Then one player hooked it into the trees and another sliced it across to another fairway. Marshalls were non existent to speed things along. The greens were pretty decent , but the fairways were thin and rock hard. I preferred to be in the rough. As I mentioned, the course is short and if you play it correctly it is very easy to score well. The views of the lake are nice at least and the layout of the course is interesting. I crossed it off my list in SD county but don't anticipate returning anytime soon

Got on for an Under Par deal for $35. Good value as the course is in decent condition. Front 9 is straight forward and back 9 has a more interesting layout. Only problem was the POP. 5 hour 15 minute round on a Tuesday 10:30 AM teetime
