Played last Saturday with fellow GK'er sixpez at a rare Saturday SCGA Outing. The course has two different sides , the front is flat and straight and the second is hilly with more interesting holes. Overall a nice course. I wouldn't hesitate to play again.

Played today at 10:00 am for $36.50 weekend walking rate. Being in a fivesome, the POP was very slow and still had to wait on every shot. The course was in good shape overall except for the greens. The greens were punched last week and will need some time before they recover from the aeration. Very bumpy and slow. The course layout is very vanilla and short. Until hole 16, then it gets a little interesting with some water. The driving range looked to be in the middle of a remodel. Someday, I hope to play this course again.

Played River Ridge Vineyard Course Friday 5/2, tee time around 2:00 pm with JohnnyGK, rgm2525, and kviser on a Meet-Play. Weather was good, little wind and sunny about 85. Nice TW rate of $25(walking).
The POP was just under five hours. The staff was trying for a fast pace. The course condition were good and greens ran slower than the normal River Ridge's super fast speed(little bumpy). The driving range was on the grass. To finish up, I can't wait to play again. Great value.

Played on Friday 4/18 with fellow GKer's tonybarrett, kviser and Sixpez. We had vouchers through MoreGolfToday.com that including a cart and range balls. The practice facilities has a driving range on grass(no mats). Staff was very friendly.

The course was in good condition for being in the middle of the desert. There are many tree lined holes. The course condition got better as we progress but the wind did pick up. Plenty of fairways roll. Greens had been aerated a few weeks ago but roll ok. Bunkers had sand not dirt.

I would pick AVCC over Rancho Vista in terms of Palmdale/Lancaster courses, but I was in minority in our foursome. I liked two of the par 3's, hole two with a big Joshua tree in the middle of right green-side bunker and hole 11 with a large lake. I can't wait to play again.

Played on 1/24/14 at 8:30 am for $18.00(rack rate $48). The rate was on Golfnow. A must for a nine hole(par three course) because of the views of the ocean. From the tee box, most holes have a bunker to hit over to reach the green. The greens run smooth. The course is a little hilly but walkable. No driving range but has a chipping area and putting green. Will replay soon.

Played today at 7:00 am this morning, first time there. The course is a 9-hole chip and putt course, par 29 with two par four. You had to hit off of mats but the greens are in pretty good shape. Just a little slow for my taste. The driving range is only 220 at best. I like the course for the money I paid($8 with small bucket of range balls). I used Golfnow.

Played on Wednesday afternoon (before the upcoming City Championship) at 1:55 with JohnnyGk and KViser, prefect golf weather, partly cloudy and in the 60’s, it was my first time playing this course. The greens speed was pretty fast (12), but rolled smooth. Exceptional conditions throughout the course, the tee boxes were level, fairways were ideal, rough was manageable (on the short side), and sand in the bunkers was perfect. There were some interesting driving holes; four and thirteen come to mind. The green on fifteen was tricky (big break). Seven holes water comes in to play. The only down side of the day was the pace of play was too long for my taste (5 Hr+). I really like this course a lot. I can’t wait to play this course again.

I played Lomas Santa Fe Executive Golf Course on Sat 24, 2012 at 2:15 pm(Single and walk-up). The pro shop got me out quickly and explain the course layout(no turn). I saw the cart girl often . Very Friendly. The pace was OK (2 hours and 30 mins). The greens were nice and overall, the course was very good for a chip and putt course. I would play it again.

I played Los Robles Greens yesterday(10/16/12). The starter got me out with no wait(single walkup 1:00PM). I made the turn in one hour 20 mins, finish in just under 3 hours. Saw no marshals but saw the cart-person plenty of times. The greens were slow and little bumpy(two week recovery). Sand traps was fine, but only sample just one. I almost forgot , they are running a special (email club) for month of October ($20 with cart after 1:00pm).
