Last week the starter was 50 minutes late getting us off of the tee. Today we were 45 minutes late. It took over 5hrs. and 45 minutes to complete the round. Lakewood is definetely the worst course in getting us out on time.

Greens are terrible. They have roughed the area 18" around the greens which make it impossible to putt when you are off of the greens and very hard to chip as the grass sticks up and is sparce. In a month the greens should be back to normal and it will again be a good place to golf.

Probably will not go back unless we cannot find a starting time anywhere else. The greenskeeper rated it as great. I would rate it as fair.

Like most American golf courses that have been bought out by another company, it seem as if they are cutting back on maintenance. Because I pay seniior rates I consider the price o.k. If I paid regular rates I would not play there.

Greens on the front nine were horrible. The back nine was better. The group ahead of us was 1 1/2 holes behind and I never saw a marshall for the 5 hrs. it took us to play. The course looks as if they are cutting back on their maintenance. Overall a disappointing day.
