For the $29 cart included rate I got on golf now this was a great course to play at. Played in 4 hours. Never had a bad lie that I can remember all day. Greens rolled pretty decent. Not too much of a challenge but overall it was a very enjoyable round. Only complaint is they could probably use a cart girl. Otherwise definitely a course I would recommend for an enjoyable round.

Very good deal on Golfnow and a great short flat course to walk. It can get windy so pay attention because it will effect almost every shot in the afternoon. The fairways are great, but the rough is the teeth of the course. It is thick and grabs your club. The Tee boxes were fairly level but have many noticeable bare patches. The greens are surprisingly good for a muni course. They were 9.5 on the stimp and rolled true. I thought they were tugh to read sometimes. I think this course is more of a challenge than the course rating and slope suggest. The rough is more punishing than you'd expect.

This appears to be a course with an incredible design that was turned over to an inexperienced maintenance crew. While this course seems to be kept in impeccable shape at a distance, throughout the round I noticed many glaring flaws. For starters they have a crab grass problem which creates numerous eye sores. This is noticeable on the fairway of every hole. The tee boxes have numerous bare spots and quite thin in areas. The sand traps are low on sand and the course is way over watered. Too many mud balls for a 75* day in the middle of August. The only thing this course has going for it besides the design are the greens. The greens are in great shape. Rolling over 10 on the stimp meter and roll incredibly true. There were several unfair hole locations today but once again this is due to the inexperience of the ground crew. A 240 yard par 3 into a stiff wind should never have the pin placed on a ridge. It's hard enough as it sits.

Definitely my favorite course. I love going out to Cinnabar. Great range, three putting greens, practice chipping and sand shots, and 3 phenomenal top notch 9 holes. Canyon is my favorite 9, but I would not complain about the mountain or lake either. Greens are lightning, but roll 100% true. Fairways, rough and tees are impeccable, there is nothing bad I can say about this course. Don't get greedy and keep your ball in the fairway and you will survive. If you are a high capper bring a lot of balls.

For the $38 walking rate that I played this course I would consider it an incredible deal. I'd pay upwards around $55 for this course and not bat an eye at it. I think anything over $60 would be a stretch. While I love this course because it provides a very fun and enjoyable round of golf it is in considerably worse shape than the Championship course, though still in good shape. This course is basically a glorified Muni course and I would never recommend paying the full rate. You can definitely get a better deal. If you are looking for an enjoyable round of golf to have some fun this is a great course. If you are looking for a challenge go play the championship course.

Side note, they need to send out a cart girl. It's pretty brutal that they never have one out there in the heat to get some cold refreshments. I will give them a plus for have water stations every couple holes though.

Shot my best round today of 75 so this course will be special to me until I shoot something lower ;-)

I think this course is a little over priced considering the condition it is in. The greens are pretty bumpy and chewed up by ball marks and the tee boxes were uneven on nearly every hole. The only good news is that you can expect the pace of play to be pretty decent. It has been in better shape in years past. Certainly not worth a drive, but if your close it's not too bad. I think the grounds crew is just having an off year.

I was expecting a phenomenal course today and was extremely disappointed. For a hot day neither the greens or bunkers were watered which did not make for a very enjoyable round. I have no complaints about the tee boxes, fairways or rough. But when you can't get a full wedge to hold a green, it doesn't make for a very fair round. The bunkers were very hard and had very little sand at all. This made it tough to get anywhere close to any pin on the course which makes it tough to score at all. There are also noticeable bare spots on tee boxes, greens and fairways.

Another thing that bothered me was that this course does not have any water jugs to grab a refill. At 90*+ during the summer that isn't very safe. They must be hurting because the greens fee has literally dropped to half price and they are forcing you to spend the $3.25 on gatorade since they don't provide any water.

All in all, there are a lot of courses closer to me that are in better shape. I won't be back anytime soon.

Played the course today. I've seen it in much better shape. Greens were punched 2 months ago and are still bumpy. Marshall said they don't have a roller. Greens still have some speed and can get slippery. Tee boxes could also use some flattening and more grass, but they aren't terrible. Course isn't in spectacular condition, but pace of play and $35 internet special makes it well worth it.

Went back because a friend of a friend got a huge discount. Have to say it was a much more enjoyable round this time because I knew the ins and outs of the course. The pin placement also seemed to be a bit more fair. The greens were in phenomenal shape, had my best putting round ever. They are quick but hold just about everything you throw at them from 200 and in. Tee Boxes and fairways were ok. The Bunkers were fine except for one greenside bunker that could've used some sand. The rough is bare or dead in some spots...but then again it is the "rough". Nice course, would never pay it for full price. Too many deals floating around out there. Get your hands on one and go have fun.

This course is way overbooked and not watched over whatsoever. There are two groups on the tee at every hole, a group in the fairway, and a group on the green. It takes 6 hours to play a par 68, which is a joke. The marshall is virtually never present and there are people hitting balls all over the place on this course and playing whatever hole they feel. One group tried to drive right passed the hole we were playing and head to the tee in front of us and I had enough and called the pro shop and they did nothing about it. Several times our group was hit into and we complained about this as well. All players in our group were bogey golfers or better and this was still the case. Ridiculous!!! This course while never see another dime from me. I'd encourage you to play somewhere that golf etiquette is followed. Course is in decent shape. It's a shame.

I've played this course several times and it's always in great shape, but today the greens were a cut above. Absolutely the best greens I've played this season and that is saying something considering I've played Eagle Ridge, Cinnabar, The Ranch, Spyglass, etc. They were soft and held everything. But at the same time they were lighting quick and rolled true. No bumps in Muni greens is absolutely incredible.

Only complaint is that the pace of play is at a snails pace and there is never a marshall on the course to help alleviate the situation. Great course for the price. I would highly recommend as long as you can play a round that is guaranteed to be 5+ hours.

The greens are quick and true and the rough and sand are both excellent to play out of. Inside 100 yards on the fairway, it is a bit to wet and very easy to catch fat shots. The tee boxes are extremely uneven, it is very hard to find a flat spot to hit from. Overall if you can get a deal form golf now it is a very enjoyable round on a nice looking course. The trees frame the fairways very well. Pay attention to the wind, it will have an effect on nearly every shot you take. I will go back, later this summer, hopefully more of the tee boxes will be fixed by then.
