No cart girl? What's up with that! Other than that, customer service was great, get the breakfast burrito(huge and very good), pro shop and starter were very nice. The front nine was fun but watch out for 10-12. They were very tough with the pin placements but it fun.
I lost a couple of balls in the high grass in the rough; I knew where they went but I just couldn't find them. The greens were more diffcult than they looked like. Excellent Value, only $23.00 for a 10:30 a.m. tee time. We finished in 4:15 hrs. and the local that was playing with out threesome said it usually is around 5 hrs. When I'm back in Bakersfield I plan on playing here again.

This is the worst I've seen the course. Lots of bare spots, divots on the tee boxes, the marshal was rude to quite a few of our fellow golfers. If it wasn't for the Red Dot 2 for 1 coupon, I would taken my son to another course like little rec or david baker. Service was good but the green fees are overpriced.

Perfect day for golf. 75 degrees with aslight breeze. Tee Boxes were okay, fairways were great. Cart path only but the exercise was good. A couple of hole locations were wicked and a coeesponding amount were easy. Finished in 4:45 hrs.

Great course! I loved its' toughness. The greens are wild.

Greens were slow, fairways were fast. Course was in decent shape.

There were some dirt patches along the fairway and no cart girl. Pace of play was great as we done in 4:30 hrs. We played on 9/25 at 12:15.

Played 9/24 at 10:30 in the morning. Course tough but fair but the roughs, they were really tough. Will come back when in the area. The starter got us out a bit early; everyone was helpful.

Played Sat. 7/12 at 6:26 in the morning as part of two fivesomes. We finished in 3:45 hrs. Some tee boxes were not level and a couple of greens had too many divots; I repaired as many as I could without slowing play down. Great place to use short irons and wedges. The greens are deceiving. We really enjoyed the challenge and we will be returning. Dig the par-3 that is surrounded by canyons.

Played 4/30 at 1:30.; finished in 5 hrs. This a is a deceiving course as it is more difficult then it looks. The greens were very tricky.

Played Saturday, 5/03 at 12:45 p.m. We finished in 4:20 hrs.; the course had a couple of difficult fairways due to the water and the desert. Greens had some tricky reads that you couldn't see. Forget about going into the bushes for a wayward ball unless you want to tangle with snake or coyote which watched us at the 8th green and we came across another one at the 14th tee. That one was too busy looking for jackrabbits to be bothered with us. The 7th and 13th holes were over water which was great but the 13th green has severe slope toward the water if you hit short. Played only $26.00 with a cart which is a excellent value and cart girl came around several times. This course isn't the best but the price is fantastic. Highly recommend this course!

Played 4/02/08 at 10:30 in the morning. It was great and my only complaint was the wind that picked at the 8th hole but that's Mother Nature. The roughs were lush, the greens were really good. I used my Tijeras Creek Card for a fantastic rate for my foursome. Fairways did get tight in some spots. We will be coming back.

Played 4/19 ,6:30 in the morning was not in usual great condition. Greens were beat up and tee boxes had alot of divots. It has gotten pricey too, I'll go back to Little Rec.
