One of the few courses around right now that is not aerating. This course is always in great shape. A lot of blind shots....but after playing this course a few times ....you know where to put your ball. Well worth the $$$$....I will return!

Nice Par 70 Course with challenging Back 9 greens. However the greens were not in very good shape. Longest round of golf I have played in awhile....5 hrs and 40min.....I should have known better it was Sunday!

Enjoy this nice layout....very challenging with some tight narrow holes on the front 9. The back 9 is a completely different course. The course is greatly improving, though not even close to how immaculate the original course was with the original owners. This course is getting a lot play now and even allows 5somes, so some time the pace of play can be slow. Worth the green fee!

The course is like so many other courses this time of the year that do not overseed the fairways........dry and hard. The greens were in the process of being aerated....I wish they told me when I made my reservation and again when I played. When this course is in good condition....it is a nice Par 70 course....wait for Spring to roll around.

Course in wonderful condition from tee boxes, fairways, bunkers and greens! Not a very easy course for the beginner .......in fact you should play from your true tees. Played with two guys who thought they were better than they were, started at the black tees and after a few holes moved up to the blue tees. A few holes require some long straight drives from the tee box to even land the fairway....like almost 180-200yards. Tough greens but they do roll true. Probably the hardest thing on this course is...if you are not straight, you will be off into the enviromentally sensitive brush or the thick thick rough and bunkers that line many holes. This is a beautiful course, but not a very fun course. Forget keeping your score, but just enjoy each hole for its beauty and surrounding views of the Pacific Ocean. Was surprised how crowded this course was considering how much $$$$....in fact the back 9 was slow and backed up on the final 3 holes. Would I go back.....well if someone else paid for me!

Best I have seen this course in over a year. When this course was taken over by new owners over a year ago, it was so sad to watch this high quality course go down hill. They have worked hard in bringing this course back to top form. The greens were aerated but looked much better than in the past. This is a challenging course, front 9 is ver narrow while the back 9 is less. Some nice holes on this couse. i will be back if they continue to keep the course this nice...now they have to work on cleaning and upgrading the restrooms.

Great course for the money.....greens are fast even with the unrepaired divots. Fairways are dormant Bermuda grass this time of the year and very hard. If you can keep your ball in play....you will get a lot of roll on these hard fairways. Still a very enjoyable course ...challenging but forgiving enough for most golfers.

Greens were aerated 2 weeks ago....no sand on it, however they need to be rolled and cut. Overall course .....very green and many wet spots from heavy watering. In a few weeks, this should be a great green course with nice greens. Front 9 is a very different course versus the back 9. I will return, one of the better maintained courses in the South Bay.

This course is fairly short...however the small crowned greens (especially on the back 9) make up for this. In fact my worst scores were on the short Par 4's. The longer holes were relatively straight forward. There is some water on this course and a few holes with some elevation change to keep things interesting. I enjoy this course.

Always enjoy Skylinks especially when the greens are in good shape. Today the greens were good.....a lot of repaired divot holes...I am not sure why this is compared to the other Long Beach courses. I am not sure if the grass is different and just cannot handle the amount of play the course gets. Otherwise this course was in great shape.....the rough was a lot longer than the last time I played here....if you can keep it in the fairway, you will get a lot of roll, otherwise you will be stuck in the rough and struggle to get it out. Very forgiving course, but the undulating greens make putting a challenge.....if only they could be in better shape.

First time playing here today....what a wonderful layout. Not the best course to pull out your new driver and use it for the first time since you have to clear some distance off the tee box to get to the fairways especially from the Blue Tees. The greens were smooth other than a few divots and rolled pretty true. There was a lot of watering going on around the course and alot was done early in the morning. So when you got near the greens, there was no roll if you landed the front of the green. This course had some very long Par 3's too. I will definitely come back to this course....well worth the money! This course is challenging but yet not as tight and narrow as a lot of other courses....this was a very enjoyable round. Next time will probably be more fun since at least I now know the layout.

Always enjoy playing here...the overall course condition always in excellent conditon no matter what time of the year. Today the white tees were really moved forward compared to the blue tees and made the course much shorter. However the tough undulating greens always make this course tough. If you hit it straight you are in good shape, however you still have to be able to sink your putts to score.
It was a warm day....could not find the cart girl for drinks and hardly no drinking water around the course except at the 2 restrooms (one on each 9).
