I know it is a cheap course. But the coots and ducks are destroying the place. Every spot is covered in crap from the birds. Fairways and tee boxes are in horrible shape.
Greens are all bumpy.
I rather play Colton for the price.
1 thing? The pace of play in the early morning is fast. And they do have rude regulars who even push and hit up on you. We played 9 holes in an hour 10 minutes walking. And we were still pushed by regulars.
Players beware!!!!!! they will hit the ball up on you before you move off the greens!!!!!!

This course has always been one of my favorite layouts. But they really need to get a marshal to keep the pace of play going. 5 hour round is not cool. And some slow players refuse to even wave the faster ones through.
Other than that? The course is looking lot better than the last time I played it.
Greens firm and fast. Fairways are in great shape. The green fees? I think they are a bit over price for the pace of play there. For the price they can keep a marshal on site to keep people moving along.

1st time playing the course on Dec. 3rd. Windy with 45mph gusts. Well setting the wind aside, the course was in great shape. Would like to play the course once again on a calm day.

Played the back 9 here on Saturday morning with my son. Greens are looking much better.
The sad thing, the greenskeepers need to change tires on their mower and sprayer. The tires are leaving tracks from the machines. Other than that? The greens are back to the way they were in 1999-2005.
Tee boxes need major over hauling. I hope they work on that soon. Seems they are slowly improving. Keep up the good work.

Well worth the green fees!

In my last post on Upland Hill's course was somewhat favorable. I played last week and found the course to be turning the opposite way again. Greens were near dead from lack of water. Fairways looked the same.
Tee boxes are worse than before.

Hopefully the management will get the idea that their either:
1. have to hire new people to take care of the course. Or
2. the owners need to spend the money to bring the course back to it's original state.

This is a cool short course for long iron play.

Well it has been a while since I have played Upland Hills. It appears to be improving in lot of areas including the staff in the field. Instead of riding up and mowing when you are putting is no longer a problem. " FINALLY".
The greens are getting better smoother and less ball mark damages.
Fairways are still patchy ( green and yellow patches) but looking more lush than the last time I played.
Sand traps look lot better except all the rocks in there. Other than that it is a vast improvement.

This course is finally turning around for the better. Greens were in great shape. Been a few years since they been this good.
Well worth the price. And staff was great!

Once again I have to voice an opinion on this course.
It is worse than Whispering lakes. The grounds keeper rode up on #15 while I was trying to putt and just kept right on. I said something to the clown and he only smiled and kept going.
On the next par 3. I pulled shot to the left, as I approached to chip my shot. Another guy rides up to rake the sand while I am trying to hit my ball 10' away.
What the heck is wrong with management? This course used to be a great course to play. Now it is run down and in sad shape.
I think that was the last time I play there.
Not worth the aggravation dealing with rude employees there.
If the owners ever read the reviews? Then maybe they could get a hint and turn the course around. But I doubt it seeing the email complaint I sent in did nothing.

This course used to be in great shape. I don't know what happened the last few years but it is as bad as Whispering sludge pits. (lakes).
I was getting to putt on hole 10 and the groundskeeper rode up on the mower. He didn't even acknowledge I was getting ready to make a putt. I backed off and he didn't even stop. He kept right on going. Couple holes later the guy rode up and went to do the same thing once again to me until I gave him a nasty look and he finally stopped.
This course for whatever reason is a lost cause until they change personnel and get someone who knows how to take care of the course.
Hopefully than can restore it to the way it once was.
One good point in it all, the guy behind the counter is always polite. And the girls in the snack bar as well.
Owners of Upland Hills you need to listen to the people who play this course.

This course used to be a good track.
The greens were brown with some green. Had the speed of Empire lakes the Friday before the mark Christopher tourney started. (Wickedly quick).
Ball marks every where!!!!!
Looked like someone drop a large bucket from above.
(why do people leave their ball marks?).
Tee boxes were over grown with lots of divots. Hard to find a small spot to tee off from.
Hopefully they get this course back on track. Although it is short, it can be challenging as well when set up right.

Played here on Christmas eve.
I love the layout at this course.
Only gripe I had was the diseased greens on front 9. Back nine were perfect.
It does appear they are using some type of algacied to combat the patches that are infected. Hopefully that will bring them back around.
I will play this course again.
