Played here on Friday the 24th.
It has been 10 years since I have played this course. It was in good shape considering the rain we had and the front 9 greens that seem diseased. The back 9 greens were in great shape.
It was sad to see the greens in the shape they were in on the front 9. But it does appear that they are making an effort to save them. Hopefully they can restore them. This is a great course if they can get them back. A very nice traditional layout with lot of different shots to use.
Not a typical new style grip it and rip every par 4 and 5. Forces you to use fairway woods and even irons off the tee on the par 4's.
I will be back to play in a few months to see if the greens healed by then.

Played here Monday. Still one of my favorite courses. Great condition.
Well worth the money.

It has been about 8 years since I have played Yucaipa Valley course.
It is in great shape for the money. Only gripe I had was the sand traps. They were hard like hard pan.
Other than that, course is great track.

Jump on to play the other day. Started at 2PM completed our round in 3-1/2 hours.
Course has always been one of my favorite tracks. Still in great shape.
I actually played on opening day and can recall the greens hard, fairways still was not matured yet.
Now? It's turned out to be IMO 1 of the best in the area especially for the price.

Went to play the back nine yesterday. The guy working the counter was rude and a jerk.
I have been playing this course for over 15 years. Never been treated the way I was yesterday. He is new never seen him before.
We got thru 2 holes and the rain came down. We asked for a rain check and the guy said NO!
That is the last time I play that course. It used to be friendly and well taken care of.
Not sure waht ahs happened but it's not the same.

Played here Saturday morning of Sept 25th.
Nice course for the money. It had been 20-21 years since I played this course.
Only thing I didn't care for was no guide book or layout of the course on the score cards. A few holes you cannot see which way the hole goes. Only issue I had.
Other than that, the greens were great, tee boxes decent. Sand traps were ugly. Hard pan no lose sand.
We are adding it to our rotation either way.

Played this morning 2nd group out. At the 5th hole we were already at 30 minutes behind. I really like this course, but they need to get a marshal who will keep people flowing. Then maybe I will play there again.

It has been a good 10+ years since I played here. From memory, the course is in a lot better shape than the past. Greens rolled well. Rough was rough and not bare spots.
Overall, I will be back.

Played Shandin early this morning.
Greens were all bumpy. Not sure what happened there. They used to roll great. Fairways look ragged compared to years ago. But playable for the price.
Hopefully they look into the greens soon.

Played here Saturday morning. They punched the greens a couple weeks back. They are still bit bumpy and sandy. Give it a week and it should be great.

Course is in great shape. Today was perfect playing weather. Almost no wind 88 degrees. Was nice to see they are keeping the course up. There was a couple greens on back 9 that need work, people not repairing ball marks. Other than that still a gem of a course.

Walked the course today. Was in best shape that I ever can recall here. Greens were slow but it did rain this morning. Other than that good vaule good shape. Well worth it.
