Played Sterling Hills for second time morning of June 19, 2008. Played round in just under 4 hours. My only complaint is that the tee boxes set so that it was difficult to find a level spot. Otherwise the course was in very good condition and fun to play.

Played Sterling Hills for first time on Monday 6/9/08. Tee time 8:30 am. Finished by 12:00 noon!

Green fees were $33.00 including a cart with GPS and a small bucket of balls. This was a special on-line price through Click4teetimes.com.

I enjoyed playing this course. Tees, fairways, rough were in excellent condition for a public course. Greens were a little bit better than average.

Course is not real difficult, but not easy either. Many holes have challenging shot decisions that reward good shots and penalize bad ones.

I look forward to playing Sterling Hills again.

Played on 5/15/08. Called at 7:15 am and got an 8:30am time; we actually started at 8:00 am. Finished by noon.

Course was in best shape that I have ever seen it. The fairways were lush, as was the rough. Greens were in very good shape as well.

As I have said before, the front nine is more interesting and fun than the back nine. Though I probably feel this way as I score better on the front.

Hopefully they will keep the condition of this course up.

Played Big Dog's tournament on 5/2/08. My first tournament. It was a lot of fun. I have always liked to play Knollwood, despite its slow pace of play. Though greens had been recently aerated, they were in pretty decent shape. Knollwood is a challenging course for all levels of players, especially high handicappers like me.

Played Indian Valley on Sunday April 6, 2008 with brother step-father and other family members - 2 4somes. Needed to rent clubs. Rentals were a top quality set of Cobra's. The course, except for the tee boxes was in immaculate condition - as good as most private country clubs. The setting could not be more beautiful. Mountains, trees, horse ranches, wild turkeys and deer stroll through the course. Every hole is different. Most holes have substantial elevation changes. The course is a fair test for most levels of players. Greens fees are very reasonable $74 with a cart on a weekend. I look forward to playing Indian Hills again.

Played on 3/9/08. Construction has started on new clubhouse. Old clubhouse has been torn down. parking space very limited.

Pace of play was ok - a little over 4 1/2 hours. Front nine took 2 hours and back nine a little over 2 1/2 hours. No marshal around to keep play moving. Group in front of us was continually making us wait at each tee, even though they were a hole behind group in front of them.

Greens were in very good shape, but very fast. Fairways were decent.

Etiquette of golfers left something to be desired. Very noisy on green next to tees and vice versa.

While yardage is short, course plays long. Many doglegs and blind shots.

If course management cared more, this would be a much better place to play. Instead, it is hard to justify playing at De Bell and paying the non-resident green fee and cart fee totaling $43.00.

Played this course for the first time on 11/28/2007. the course was in great condition. A real test. However, it was so windy constant 40 mph I can't say that I enjoyed the round. Your ball did not stay on the tee, thewind blew balls off the green, a great drive into the wind went 120 yds at best, but 300 yds plus with the wind. I will return on a less windy day.

Played Xmas morning. Started at about 7:10am and finished at 11:00 a.m. No waiting on any tee or in any fairway. Course was in pretty decent shape. Some tees were a bit not level and some greens a bit bumpy - needed mowing - but excusable since it was XMAS. All in all an enjoyable round.

Played Camarillo Springs on Saturday 10/6/07. Beautiful day for golf. I like this layout. Front nine is more interesting than back nine. Course is a fair test for all skill levels. the course was in reasonably good condition, though the fairways were a little spotty.

Played on Monday 8/27/07 at 1:30 p.m. Played 18 holes in under 3.5 hours. Greens were a bit slow and many ball marks. Otherwise course in pretty good condition.

This is a fun executive course which allows you to work on short game and course management.

Played Harding on Sunday 8/5/07. This was the first time I have played this course. I loved the layout. the pace of play was a little slow. The course was in good condition considering that it is a municipal course that gets a lot play every day. Some of the greens had unrepaired ball marks, which is a divot mark on all of us. Come on friends - repair your ball marks!

I will play here again, hopefully soon.

Played on Sunday 7/29/07. Had a 12:50 pm starting time - but they our threesome us out early at 12:30 p.m. Finished at 4:15p.m. Staff very nice and helpful.

My son played for free since it was his birthday.

Course was in very good condition. This is a very tough course - at least for me. Course knowledge is essential. You must keep your ball in the fairway or else you are going to lose a lot of balls and take many penalty strokes.

This is not a course for a high handicap golfer.

I will come back when I am a better player.
