The course has a lot thin spots on the fairways but the greens were in great shape and running about a “10”. I noticed quite a few men working on the course so things should start getting better. The senior rate was $38.00 with a cart. The driving range could use some new balls.

Another beautiful day at Aliso Viejo. The staff was very friendly and the course was in great shape. Greens were firm and ran true at about a 13 --- very fast. The sand was a little thin in some bunkers. Finished play in 4:40. $39.00 for seniors before 0830 and that includes a cart.

Another great day at this San Clemente course. Weather perfect, pace of play perfect, course in good condition. Greens were running about 10 with tuff pin placements. What a way to start the new year.

Nice day at “Three Sleeves”. Weather was perfect, staff was friendly and the course is perking up with help from the greens keepers. The greens were running about 11 and in real good shape. The fairways, for the most part, are a little ragged in some areas. Several sand traps were being redone and had no sand. They’re in the process of putting more money into this course. The carts need a little fixing here and there but for the price, it was a nice experience.

This course is looking much better. The greens were really nice and running about 10 or 11. The fairways were the best I’ve seen here for years. They’re still working on the sand traps and have about half finished with new white sand. The new sand needs to be watered in thoroughly to compact it. The staff was very pleasant and pace of play was four and a half hours.

As said before --- Bunkers are thin --- need more sand. The rest of the coursre is in great shape --- Greens running about 10 to 11. Nice course and the staff are very nice.

While it was high 90’s to low 100’s inland, San Clemente was 82 degrees with a little ocean breeze today. The course is in pretty good shape and the greens were very nice --- running about a 10 and pretty smooth. There was a little over watering in some areas and they were spreading manure around some of the fairways so in a week or so things will lush up.

The course is in great shape. The sand was thin and you got a lot of club bounce for a thin shot --- they need more sand in the bunkers. Quit foggy in the morning, however, there were enough staff to make everything move smoothly. The senior rate before 8:30 in the morning was $39.00 --- Very good deal. They really need better facilities at this course --- restaurant, club house, etc.

Nice weather, great course, nice people. The one thing that was a little upsetting and I mean a little, was their score card, yardage book, and the tee box plaque had different yardages. We let them know and they said they would check into it.

I haven’t played San Clemente for about three months and the course needs help. Lots of bad spots on the fairways with over watering, under watering, divots that weren’t dressed, and places where they sprayed vegetation killer for crab grass. The greens were fine and running about 10. The weather was perfect --- overcast and 71 degrees.

This course has always had problems with the fairways. Bare spots and some over watering. The greens were in real good shape and running about 10. The senior rate was $29.00 with a cart. The weather was perfect as usual for San Clemente.

The course was in very good shape and since it was my birthday, I got a large bucket of practice balls and a free game with cart. Everybody was very nice and friendly and the weather was perfect. The senior rate is $40.00 with cart and is a good value.
