Quick review today. Teed off at 10:10, finished in 3 hours 45 minutes. There were people out there but not too crowded, and the marshal was around constantly and did an amazing job keeping the pace moving along. Fastest round I've played here.

The greens were smooth, quick, and had less ball marks than usual. Very nice today. The remainder of the course can only be described as ragged, yet playable. Stay out of the bunkers, lots of rocks in them. I'd play again because it's so close to me.

Black Friday round. The course is in winter condition, with firm and fast yet very green fairways, dormant but springy rough where the ball sits up nicely, and patchy looking, semi-dormant greens that are still smooth and roll quick and true. The bunkers are mostly hard packed and full of rocks. This place demands accuracy above almost all courses I've ever played; a slight mis-hit probably means a lost ball. Bring plenty your first time! All in all it's a very creative routing with some unforgettable views, I'll gladly play it again now that I have some course knowledge.

Teed it up in the 2nd to last group of the GK Plays last weekend. I can't really add much that hasn't been said already, the course was in great shape overall. Regarding the bunkers, I was only in two, and they were fairway bunkers; the fact that they were pretty hard-packed was a bonus for me. If they were greenside, not so much! Great day with great folks.

Played this morning at 8:30, rack rate including cart of $59. Followed a tourney, so pace of play was bad but to be expected.

I'll agree with everything Nickesquire stated in the previous review, but I'll add that as it gets later in the day, the poa on the greens starts to bloom, and speed slows/break increases.

I'm a fan of both courses here, the rack rates are a little steep but still cheaper than OC tracks that are in worse shape and have less character.

Kind of late on this one...played Sunday 6/7 at 12:40. What drought??? The course is as green and lush as I've ever seen it. Fairways and tee boxes are great. Rough is deadly, easy to lose your ball and tough to punch out if you find it. Wasn't in any bunkers but they looked good. The greens still show signs of aeration, they are a bit bumpy. For $29, I'm happy with what I got. Will play again. Oh, and beware the wind in the afternoon!

Walked on a little after noon today as a single for $29, played as a single and made it around in a bit under 3 hours. I really can't say much that kevbig didn't cover in his review from 2 days ago. The greens are quite frustrating, you absolutely think they will be faster than they are. Smooth as a baby's behind though. I was in a few bunkers and the sand felt very heavy, take that as you will. Overall I enjoyed the new layout, there are quite a bit more elevation changes than before which makes it very interesting. Will return.

Played Saturday 5/2 at 1:30, the course was empty. Got around in 3 hours. Not bad at all! Conditions are really showing the effects of the drought. Tee boxes and rough are still in good shape. The bunkers are hard and crusty. Fairways are running super fast, with quite a few bare spots. They're not rock hard, so the lies are ok, but still could use some help. The greens...ugh. They ARE rock hard, with approach shots barely leaving a mark if at all. They are also very bumpy, and inconsistent speed-wise leaning towards the slow side. It looks like, unless courses start getting creative, this may be the new normal for a while until we get some consistent rainfall.

Not rating today and a quick review, course is undergoing maintenance. The tee boxes are punched, with small firm areas left clear for suitable teeing grounds. Fairways, rough and bunkers were good to great. Greens were thatched/punched with small tines, lightly sanded and rolled. They were very quick, with less break than expected. Good to play now, should be exceptional again in a few weeks.

Showed up this morning at 6:15, got on the waiting list and was sent out around 7. I will agree 100% with the recent review by sixpez. Nothing has changed at all. The greens are still very, very firm and won't hold any shots. Everything else, please refer to the last review. Pace was good at 4 hours. Knowing what to expect, I had a good round. Will come back but probably not until after they punch the greens in the spring.

Fun little course! Played with my old man yesterday around noon, paid my 13 bucks and walked on. There are two ~300yd par 4s, the rest par 3s with the longest playing around 140 yards.

Tee boxes weren't so good, but I was able to find a decent patch on every one. The fairways and rough were quite nice. I was in one bunker and the sand was very good, soft with no hard pan beneath. The greens were bumpy and medium speed, held shots well. I had a great time and will return for a quickie every now and then.

Quick review for today. GN $17.50 at 11:45. Pace 4 hrs. Fairways are trash from the cold weather and frost last week. Greens punched with very small tines, no effect. Rolled great and held shots. Bunkers mixed, some soft, some firm. Tee boxes mostly uneven but not hard to find a level spot. Acceptable conditions for price paid.

This is more of an experience and customer service review than I normally post, so bear with me :)

Tee time was at 9:07 for $40 as a single. Was informed at check-in that they were running around 10-15 minutes behind. I had given myself a 5:15 window today to play, so I was worried. Teed off at 9:47, 40 minutes late. Was paired with another single and sent out as a twosome with foursomes ahead of us. The front nine took 2:35, the single I was with left on #5. No way I could finish the round in the time I needed to. Went to the shop attempting to get a rain check for the back 9...man at the counter said no rain checks. I explained the situation and he said I could try speaking with the GM. So I met Jamie, the GM; what a class act he is! He explained that the women's club brought twice as many people as expected this morning and it screwed everything up. I asked for the back 9 rain check, and he did me one better by giving me one for a full round. This is amazing customer service and I give major applause to Jamie for helping out a golfer in need.

Conditions were good but damp/wet throughout the front 9. Nothing to complain about except for a few rocky bunkers and occasional mud.
