Played yesterday as the 5 th group out. Now I know what time to play this course on the weekend. Pace of play was great at a little over 4 hours for a course that usually takes easily over 5hrs.
Fairways were good, tee boxes were lush with some divots. Greens were rolling medium. The traps were great in some with white sand but on the par 3 5 the bunker was all mud. As I was leaving the 18 th noticed a back up on 1 and a lot of people in the pro shop. If you play here on the weekend get there around 5 am.

Played this morning before the men's match play. I give this place a bad review due to bad course management. I understand it was raining and I was fine because I came expecting rain. I did not get to finish due to bad irrigation on the course. I understand not giving rain checks if I were to quit because of the rain but I stopped playing because the course was down right unplayable. Tee boxes, fairways, and especially the greens were flooded. I was basically playing in a water hazard the whole round.
I went in because of that and asked if they did anything like a voucher for next time but they just told me they did not give rain checks. I told the pro shop guy I was quitting because it was unplayable and even their men's club guys were saying the same thing, but they still said no. Well Lakewood you lost a customer who was loyal to your course and also a couple of tournaments I was going to plan at the course too.

Played yesterday at 6 30 with a whole new set of sticks. The pace of play was great, I got out as a single and finished at 9 30. The course is in good condition the tee boxes are level and lush, fairways are great, rough some patchy, greens rolled true and medium, probably would be fast in the afternoon.
I did not think i would shoot well with a new driver, iron set, wedges, and a new putter, but played decent. Almost had a hole in one on the par 3 9th hole. right in front of the maintenance guy. I didn't think he was paying attention, but he was watching and he was jumping up and down because it hit the hole and bounced out. It was a great day to play.

Playing this course was a big mistake. Pace was horrible, waited after every shot. Played behind a 5some, where one of the players thought he was a teaching pro. He would stand behind each of the players and help them on their swing on every shot. This made them almost 2 holes behind.
Course was not in good shape, they must have a water restriction over here because everything was brown. I usually like playing here, but I will avoid it now.

Played Saturday morning after coming back from Oregon. Was put on the waiting list and had time to warm up. Pace on Saturday was great, didn't wait on many holes. Finished in about 4 hours. The course was great, the grass was green on the fairways, greens rolled true. The bunkers were not good, some were fluffy, but others were hardpan. Had a great time. Will be back.

Played today at 648 with another single. The course is out in what I thought was the middle of nowhere in newberg. Was making a good pace in the front nine but all of a sudden it slowed down. Went from 1 hr 30 front to almost 3 hr back nine.
Course is very nice and well kept. Clubhouse staff was excellent. Only gripe I had was houses were about 10 feet from some holes. I could see people eating breakfast on some holes. Enjoyed the course for the most part, but next time I will not walk, this course has a lot of hills and long distances from green to next tee box. I was hurting after 10 holes.

Played today at 654 to beat the heat coming to Portland. The rate here is usually 75 to walk, but thru golf now found a tee time for 45 with a cart. I usually walk but for that rate I was not complaining. This is one of the nicest places to play. Everything is top notch from practice area to tee boxes to the greens. I would have paid the 75 to play here but it's always nice when a deal comes out. Will always come back to play here. Thinking about becoming a member if I didn't live in California.

Went out Sunday with the brother in law and his family. This course is my favorite course in Portland. I make sure to play here as much as I can. The course is immaculate from the tee to the green. Everything to the entrance, range, bar is inviting to the golfer and visitor. If you come to the Portland area this is the course to play.

Played this morning and completed the round at around 3hours. The course was in great shape from tee to greens. I enjoy playing this course because it can play from 6200 to 7000 yards. I played the black tees today since I was by myself. The locals seem to hate this course, but I like it and play it every summer I come up. Due to a lot of rain Portland gets this course is always green. The only gripe I have is that this course has too many geese. These birds lay some mean droppings and they are everywhere near the greens.

Played this course on July 4th on a trip up to mount hood. Was the first one out and took only 3 hours to walk this course. They have 3 different 9 hole courses. Played the pine and the original nine, I forgot the name. It was a fun course to play I wish I was able to play the foxglove nine too but it was closed.
The course was pristine as any course I have seen, I don't think they get a lot of play. Tee boxes were great, fairways lush, greens rolled true. Only problem were the traps, the sand was too hard packed, but that was because It was so early. Overall enjoyed playing here. The scenery was great, a deer walked up to about 3 feet from me without a care in the world.

Got to play this tract today. First time at the course and I was very impressed. The tee boxes were lush, fairways were clean, greens were rolling true. Pace of play was sweet,finished in under 4 hours walking. Only gripe I had were the bunkers, I think it was only due to the fact that I played at 7. Will be back

Played on Saturday around 6 30 in the morning. Was hot already probably around 90 that early. Had a great time on the course. Greens looked fast but ended up leaving a lot short in the beginning until i got used to the speed of the greens. Paid 40 on saturday. Was well worth the price. Will be back later.
