Course was not up to the standard that I had played a couple of weeks ago. Pace of play was not good for a thursday afternoon. Nickesquire hit the nail on the head about the course conditions. I like playing this course but I will not he playing it in the afternoon anymore.

Got out with nickesquire on tuesday morning. Everything he wrote I second. I think it will play alot faster when the course dries out.

Played Thursday at 636 am first one out. Special of 55 with cart. Pace was excellent in that I was done by 945. Coukdve finished faster but was styck behind maintenance people.
Course itself was great. Tee boxes perfect and level fairwayslush rough thick but not too difficult to get the ball out.
Only complaint were the greens. Hard to find the right pace due to spraying of fungicide. Greens held their lines but was slow. Will come back again to play south.

Played here on June 1 early in the morning. All I can say is Victoria must have a sister course over here in Palm Springs.
Pros: Pace of Play was under 4 hours, but I could probably see why nobody plays this course.
Price- played for 18 with a cart. Which was still too expensive for what the course offered.

Cons: tee to green was dirt, you hit into the middle of the fairway you are rewarded with a dirt lie. Greens looked like they would be fast but were very slow.

This course was probably the worst course I have ever been on from tee to green. they need to shut this place down and do some maintenance on the course. Also please mark the holes properly as a group that finished #3 thought the 8th tee was their tee. They did not believe the spray painted 8 on the marker I guess.
Course has potential but until i hear of improvements we have taken this course off our palm springs list.

Played sunday early morning as the second group out. Pace was bad the first 6 holes in that we were waiting for every shot because the husband was giving lessons to his wife on every shot. Once the group finally let us pass we finished quick. The course itself was in good shape. I like the thin lies of links courses. The greens were firm but held shots. The greens rolled nice and medium fast. They rolled true.
One advice for people that book early teetimes, you do know that the time change makes the sun come out later. Please do not make other people wait for you to tee off because the suns not out. Make your tee time later if you want the sun. We were stacked 5 groups on the first tee because the first group waited for the sun. A starter on the tee would have been helpful. Please be considerate of other golfers around you.

This course is probably the hardest course to get out on a weekend if you are a single or anyone on the waiting list. I got to the course around 530, still dark mind you. Was the second single on the list. Did not get called until around 720. Eric, the front desk guy, was cool in giving me range balls for waiting.
Course was in great shape for the time of year. The best part of the course were the greens except for 3 the temp green. Putts rolled fast and true. some tee boxes were very thin, but I like thin lies compared to lushy lies. Other than that the course is one of the better in long beach area and it is a whole lot cheaper than the others.
Maybe need to get there at 430 or 5 next time, or maybe sleep over in the parking lot.

Got out this early morning as a single. The course was in great shape. The greens were the best part of this course they rolled fast and true. The fairways were lush and the rough was not penal. The bunkers were fluffy in some but on others it was thin. The pace was nice at around 4 hours. The conditions were nice but the course was made very difficult due to 50+ mph winds. Other than the winds this course was great. Will be making a trek to this course again.

Played on sunday for $39 from a website special. The course was just too muddy to play. I thought it was going to drain better from the rain but it didn't. The tee boxes were lush but muddy. Fairways were lush but had areas that looked like they were under repair. The best part of the course were the greens. A couple of pin placements were unfair, but the putts rolled true. It was cart path only, but i wish they would allow people to walk if that is the case. Should wait a couple of more days so the course can dry back up.

Pace of play 3.5 hours as I was the first one out.
Tee boxes were level and very lush.
Fairways were lush with only a few divots.
Rough wax about 1 to 3 inches and very easy to hit out of.
Bunkers were wet on a few holes while very soft on others as I could see. Only found two and they were easy to get out of.
Greens were very fast and if you were on the wrong side then it leads to a lot 3 putts. As I found out on some holes.
This course is a very nice to play. You do get some traffic noise from the freeway but it's not too bad. Everything was well manicured and lush. Greens had not pitch marks which is nice. Always try to get out here when I come to Portland area.

Was looking forward to playing this course today. Got out at 656 finished around 10. Pace of play was good. I was disappointed in the condition of the fairways, a lot of divots on the course. Greens were fast as course dried up. People need to fill in their divots they make I was in about 10 divots off the tee. Will wait to play here again.

First round of the year in Portland and the course did not disappoint. Was the first one out at around 545 finished the front nine before 7 and was in the car after 18 by 815. The course was lush everywhere because of all the rain Portland got. Greens were very firm but they held approach shots. Could not get a feel for the greens because of all the mist on the greens.
Tee boxes were lush fairways lush rough was not penal. Only gripe about the course are the geese and their massive droppings. Its similar to the coot problem back at Cali. Will come back again.

Played a birthday round and was treated like a king. Must play for your birthday. The course was immaculate from tee to green. Pace was great, finished at 3.5 hours.
Tee boxes were level and lush ball sat up.
Fairways were perfect, ball sits up nicely. Rough wad not too penal. Was around an inch or two. Greens rolled true and was medium fast. Only bad part about the course were the bunkers, it might have been because it was early but, the bunkers were muddy. Will come back again. It was great that I was able to walk this course.
