Day 3 of our little golf Vacation. Had the voucher from a GK Event and was excited to play this course. What a nice setup they have here...lots of retired folks and vacationers come here. outstanding facilities and wonderful staff.

Concord was supposed to be a bit easier than the Lexington, so we booked this one first. I played the whites and found myself hitting into trouble off the tee quite a bit. Still managed an 87.

Course has some less than stellar spots in the fairways and most bunkers were lacking in the sand department but otherwise the course is gorgeous...nice track and good views.

GPS and cooler on the carts are a nice and welcomed touch. Cart service came around several times as well.

Day 2 of the mini-golf vacation. Used GK Event Vouchers that we had won previously. Staff was very friendly. a pretty crowded course on a Sunday and teed off about 5mins past the scheduled time. Course was simply perfect from the fairways and greens. Bunkers were lacking sand, but started to think that is just common with these desert courses subjected to wind. The track itself doesn't really stand out, but was consistent throughout as one might expect from a Troon course.

Started my 4 day golf vacation at the Desert course. First time playing this one, got a great deal on GN for $31 for a 12:40 Tee time. Course was simply fantastic. Every aspect from check-in to check-out was well above Average. Fairways like carpet...Greens true and smooth. If I were to give any portion of this course something to improve on it would be to keep the tee boxes mowed a bit...they were slightly shaggy...but that was it. I highly recommend this course.

Played at around 6:30 this morning as part of a 5some, haven't played here in a long while.

Course wasn't too bad....it is what it is...a decent short muni for a reasonable fee.
POP was about 3.75 hours...

Greens - were bumpy, soft and slow...what an awesome combination!
Fairways - just avg at best....a few bare spots on most holes
Rough was pretty good, uniform length and very playable.

I had great company today, so I have no complaints.....

Played at 10:50am tee time Saturday. First time at this course. Had a good deal with underpar and had seen recent reviews, so expectations were properly set.

Course is lacking a lot of things IMHO. Driving range is in serious need of new mats...they were some of the worst I have seen.

Fairways - yikes!....dirt, spots of grass, mostly burned out and thin.....that was my impression of most of the holes, a few were better.

Rough - mostly dirt hills with some grass...lots of hardpan.

Greens - best part of the course, they held shots...pretty slow on the front but picked up a little afternoon speed.

Bunkers - only was in 1 and it was very good. I saw players in others and some were a mixed bag of wet and thin and others were fluffy.

Carts - no gps, no cooler

Facilities - no restrooms on course, a couple of porta-potties. not a club house you wanna hang out afterwards really.

probably a 1 and done visit for us. But for under $20 each...it was worth the look.

Played 36 at the rock today with SBogey...wonderful day out today. Course was in much better condition than it was last month when I played.

Bunkers to me are still their weak link....muddy the first round, bone dry and hard pan the second round.

Fairways were pretty good, greens decent, the rough was tricky....just snagged your clubs and made pitching and chipping and adventure.

Starting to really like this course and look forward to getting back there again soon.

Thanks for a good day today Steve.

played this morning at approx. 9:30. First time on this course, so here are my impartial observations.

1. Good to know that the Driving range is closed on Tuesday and Thursday mornings until 10am.....didn't know that until 8:45am this morning.
2. Carts have a nice GPS, but lack cooler....105 degrees outside...a cooler would be nice, though the course has several water stations on various tee boxes.

3. Fairways, pretty darn good considering the drought....honestly it was one of the BETTER condition courses I have played in OC this summer

4. Greens - decent, a lot of diseased patches, but on the edges.....didn't overly affect my play, but somewhat of an eyesore.

5. Bunkers - mostly good, was in one on the front 9 that has rocks and large pebbles in it.

overall - I enjoyed the outing this morning, POP was right at 4 hours....was going to do another loop since there was NO ONE else even on the course...but sadly they wouldn't negotiate the replay rate....$30 each to play in 105 degrees when they have no other bookings seemed a bit stiff...so I bailed, but otherwise I would like to get the wife out there soon and play again. Highly recommend, but try to get in for under $70 to get a good value.

Played today using hot deal GN, sadly the course got a jump on punching the greens. I thought it started on Monday but we saw 4-5 greens that already were. Most greens were in sad shape.

Fairways were decent, but pretty wet in many areas. Bunkers were in great shape.

Construction happening at the club house....not affecting anything

Very hot out there today and if you are considering this course and have not played there before, be aware of the following: no gps, no cooler, no shade.

Played Saturday with Tobster, TeaGal and Acesful on a very hot and humid morning. I played a 2nd round while the rest of those young people hung out in the A/C.

Course is in great shape considering the time of year.

Fairways - 7.5 out of 10, just awesome...nothing to complain about here, and the fact they are as wide as a football field on some holes.....gotta love resort golf.

Rough...not sure if they have any......

Bunkers - 8 out of 10....I love sand, and these are fluffy and soft.

Greens - didn't hold shots all that well, but other than that, they were solid and in really nice condition.

Staff is very friendly and helpful....cart girl was around often.....lots of water stations on the course. GPS and Cooler in carts are a nice welcome touch.

definitely worth a visit if you get the chance to play here.

First time playing here, and for $14 each..I thought it was nice.....tee boxes are pretty beat up, but greens were nice...slow in speed, but soft and receptive. As stated by Matt previously, it is a good practice round with irons/wedges. Knocked another course off the list.

Played today for an easy twilight round.....walked the course (which I always do here) but today I really felt beat up on the walk, the grass was long and thick.....great way to burn some unwanted calories.

This course put in those 15" pins on all the greens, they have a checkered flag on the pole, so you know which one is which when you are looking out at the green. 17 holes it didn't get in my way..but 1 hole it did..so I curse the idea...*LOL*

Bunkers were pretty darn good I must day....sort of shocked to be honest.
Green were not in bad shape, lots of ball marks, slow-medium speed.

all In all, not a bad course when you get a sweet deal....today was $12, so that is Sweet+

Played today at 10:40, was 10 mins late on starting. POP was 5 hours

Tee boxes - hit and miss, none were better than average.
Fairways - decent, some unmarked GUR, some overly watered patches, but mostly okay
Greens - average, hole 15 was the best conditioned green on the course
Bunkers - yeah, someone paid for some sand....well done, and thank you

Not as nice as it was last time I played there, luckily had my creek card, but not worth $80, sorry, but there are better options at that price.
